Bio circa 2011: These days, the Slytherin in me has mellowed somewhat, but I'm still an immense fan of the series that has defined by generation, and, as someone for whom words has served as addiction, balm, and ambrosia, fan fiction is my way of engaging with and heightening my love for the characters I've known and loved and contemplated these last 10 years. As you've likely noticed, plot isn't my forte, and I have what I like to call a "raven personality", meaning that I'm easily distracted by the next shiny plot bunny. As such, one shots are generally where I find myself at home. If, by some bizarre and thoroughly flattering chance, you'd love to see any of my multi-chapter stories continued, please leave me a review telling me why, and/or where you might like the story to go, and I might get a big enough jolt of inspiration to carry through, if the muse suits. Bio circa 2007: Basically, I'm an overly obsessed fan of the Harry Potter series, who sat down one day, found this wacky, wonderful, and occasionally deranged world of fan fiction, and thought "Hey, maybe I'll give this a try!" I'm a Slytherin through and through, a fan of Severus Snape (small voice of denial inside head; NO! he's not dead!!), and read far more dramiones, granger-snapes, and Snape-Harry gens than is either normal or healthy for any human being, and I'm proud of it. Unlike some, I prefer being smart to being bold and unthinking. Bloody irrritating Gryffindors! Anyway, now I have two stories I'm working on, with far more existing in my head than on actual paper or hard drive, but hopefully it will make its way out soon enough. If there is anyone reading this, and you have an idea for a one shot, or something else (preferably short, I don't want to get in to over my head since I'm already working on two stories) that you want me to write, let me know! I'm usually open to new ideas, although that does have limitations. I don't write/read anything that involves a romance with an inanimate object, Mpreg, explicit slash, Malfoy-cest, or threesomes. I do believe that the fact I have to warn against things like that is a testament to the err, how should I phrase this, uniqueness, of Harry Potter fan fiction. But, for all its faults, it is my life, since I essentially have no life, and I love it.
