Ello, welcome to my profile! My name, as far as anyone here needs to know, is Limey Fruitcake! Here’s a little info about me for anyone who cares. I am both “Limey” and a “fruitcake” which means I was born in England but now live in America. Use your imagination bout the fruitcake bit. I have a raging case of insomnia so I don’t sleep well if at all so don’t be surprised if you receive reviews from me at three or four o’Clock in the morning. I have a dog named Jake, a fish named Yami and a rat named Primrose. I hate carrots more than anything else in the entire world. And I’m a youtube addict. That’s me in a nutshell. Oh, and I’ve been reading fanfiction for years and I’m just now getting around to making an account, is that normal?

Fandoms *WARNING-MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS:

Yu-Gi-Oh!- This is both my oldest and newest fandom. I use to have mini tournaments with my father and brother every saturday while we watched the anime but around 3rd grade I discovered something known as “friends” and quickly lost all interest in the card game. Until very recently when I stumbled upon YGOTAS during one of the random internet searches I do when I can’t sleep. I proceeded to watch every single episode in order and was immediately hooked again. I should say though, that since all my interest in the series stems from the English dub and the abridged series, I do not know all the Japanese names for the characters so be patient was me if you use them. (I know the big ones like Joey=Jonouchi, Tristan=Honda and Tea=Anzu but that's about it.)

Phineas and Ferb- What can I say? This is an absolutely brilliant little show, cleverly written and fantastically funny. It’s the only show on Disney Channel worth watching anymore. It’s really the perfect fandom because the the seemingly endless possibilities for fanfiction, unfortunately several annoying cliches are forming. Which is very sad.

Adventure Time- This show is bloody hysterical. The fanfictions are usually rubbish but I continue to read them... I don’t know why... I blame the couples. They are so addicting!

Glee- I’m a gleek and I’m proud! The music is great (90% of the time) the characters are a bit over the top but still well written and hysterical. The story line, though a little played, is enduring and truly defines our generation! Plus all the guys in it are fit, to say the least.

Bleach- Despite it absolutely absurd length this is a smashing manga/Anime, series. The show is gripping and beautifully constructed. The Fics are usually quite intriguing although I often do not understand what the bloody Hell is going on. Nothing new there, though.

Death Note- I recently finished watching the Anime of this popular series with my BF. From the very first episode we were hooked. It’s incredible in every way, from the epic story to the characters, which are brilliant, both in intelligence and also their uncanny ability to force you to love them. Especially L. By the 19th or so episode both me and my BF where squatting on our chairs and sucking on our fingers without meaning to. Weirdest experience ever. Suffice to say, I cried when he died. He was truly a hero for the ages.. If only he were real. I will come right out and say it, I hate Light. Hes a total wank and his morals are complete bullocks. I am forever greatful to Matsuda for shooting him. I only wish I could have done him in myself..

Couples/Ships [First I would like to state I do not HATE any couple! I love Yoai, crack, slash and things that are just plain weird. I will read any ship and as long as it is well written and believable I will enjoy it.] But here are my favourites in no particular order:

Writing:

I am not a writer. I do not possess the skills or the attention needed to create a worthwhile story. It amazes me how one can build entire universes using words alone and I am incredibly jealous of those who can do it. I have tons of ideas that may [or may not] make interesting Fanfictions. Sometimes I tell my mates about them and they say they are awight so maybe I'll get around to writing one day, but for now, I read.
