 Author has written 5 stories for Elder Scroll series, Mass Effect, Lackadaisy, and Star Fox. Hello, ladies and gentlemen. This is Eddy speaking, your host to a world of exciting adventures! Just kidding, Im just a normal guy, just like you all: I like videogames, hanging out with my friends, romance, glory, blood, weapons, to crush my enemies under my heel... Okay, maybe not like the majority of you. But Im there. Okay, so lets get down to business. Right now, theres not much left to say, other than "Please read my stories", but Ill keep you posted about what happens in the faraway land of My Room, where adventure lives on, theres a hungry dragon in every corner and science is so advanced that I am typing this in the FUTURE! As I said, Im not like the majority of you guys... August 28, 2012 Gotta say, Im really happy with all my stories so far. After a very text-heavy and big story ( The Cat and The Lizard) follwed by a short and sweet romance story ( Purple and Red), I decided to settle into something definately not as complicated: a revenge-romance-style story, which is Lacakadaisy Medicine. Maybe writing for a smaller fandom will help me relax. If any of you guys are interested, I would kindly ask for you to at least leave a small review on this new story. The sooner I am done with it, the sooner I can concentrate on something new, how bout it? Keep strong! Eddy out August 30, 2012 After a pretty off-putting review, I have finnaly decided to adress the elephant in the room: My writing style. I have already answered this, and I will answer as many times is necessary: I am neither American nor English. I am a Brazillian who speaks a very damn good English. However, in my country, we write using hyphens/dashes for dialogue. That is also another reason why I dont begin dialogue in the middle of a paragraph. For me, every dialogue must start with a hyphen and a paragraph. However, after much thinking and considering, I have surrendered to the raging inferno above my head: once I return to my computer (and depending on progerss with my new story, Lacakdaisy Medicine), since its broken, The Cat and The Lizard will undergo dialgue revision and spellchecking. Nothing in the story will change, just the writting format. I am quite depressed about the recent review, though, since many people have already told me that they have gotten past my style and really enjoyed the story. We have a saying in Brazil :"You come to my restaurant, eat my food and then complain that the plate is cracked." Sincerely, Eddy |
