I loved both.

06.30.09 — Chapter six.

Shortest one yet, but oh well. I did have a snippet in there, though: the revelation about language being controlled in the brain. There will be another snippet in chapter 7 too.

Now, I've got to do some more planning about how the next few chapters are going to go since my fire's starting to die out a bit (and my Puppy should be back tomorrow), but don't worry . . . There's too much more to add in the story for me to quit now.

06.28.09 — Told you the wait would pay off. I can't believe it. Chapter five is up.

This is absolute insanity. I just have so much inspiration going right now, it's like I need to write. Now, I don't know how long that will last, and I'm starting to regret posting a new chapter so soon after the last one, but I couldn't make you guys wait. =) Plus, when my boyfriend gets back in a few days, I'm sorry to say it but I probably won't be writing as much again. He's my Puppy; he needs my attention. XD

The plot is becoming more and more defined. There is so much yet to come and so much to tie in with what's already been written. Which reminds me that chapter 5 includes one of my snippets! This was a scene I'd written last month:

He clenched his jaw tightly and met my gaze with a cold stare.

“I've only ever associated with the best, Granger,” he so politely informed me. “The wealthiest, the most powerful, the most influential —”

“The purest blood, you mean!” I interjected indignantly. “News flash, Malfoy: Blood doesn't define people, and that's the only category that you've ever been best at.”

“Oh, that's rich coming from a bloody know-it-all.”

“At least that will get me somewhere in life!”

“And money won't?” he countered smugly.

I never knew where it would fit in, but I was so excited when it did. Hopefully, that will happen more often. Snippets are really useful to get your creative juices going if you're stuck on one part, and they come in handy later. Be a rebel and write out of chronological order!

06.27.09 — Chapter four! Yes!

I have a whole new twist to the plot in my head now. Hopefully, it will help for the story to be more than just a romance/drama fic. 8D Sorry for the wait. It should pay off soon.
