Hello!

I'm still trying to figure me out. But there are a few kinks I've worked out the past 20 odd years. I love reading. And so should like writing. But am terribly allergic to a committed relationship with the stories I write. Perhaps a reflection of my inner self, perhaps I'm just lazy. But, alas, this page stays alive because I am trying hard to work past that and finish something! Give an end to something that has probably been yearning one for years.

I write stories here using my favourite characters from my childhood. They bring me back to a time, simple and just. And I think, to a degree, this helps me keep my sanity.

14/01/09- STUPID STUPID STUPID SCHOOL AND WORK. How thou killest me. Stories, my sweet escape, where have you disappeared? Sorry my loves but lately I've been spending more time reading than writing all due to tutelage and leisure. All of which leads me to hate my stories once again. Re-write or continue? Ah, decisions, decisions.

07/12/08- Gah Sorry for the lack of updates but I'm in the middle of my first term final exams and linguistics and art history are killing me. Seriously, Pablo, how many more mothereffing analytical cubism paintings can you make. Yar killin' me here, bro. When the winter holls roll around I shall give you yummy updates in the shape of applechocolate cupcakes.

27/11/08- Greetings fellow earthlings! CHERRY TREE Chapter 7 is up. Woohoo! THIS chapter wass sooo hard to write. You have no idea. I wishy-washed for like an entire week and a half on the direction I'd like for it to go. And at the last moment, I was like screw it all. And wrote it up for your pretty eyes. Also, I LOVE comments that point out mistakes, because I hate reading over my stuff. It just shows me how much I can't write like Ian McEwan or Gabriel Garcia Marquez's translator or how much of an anti-word smith I am. Also I gots no Beta. ART OF WAR Chapter 4 is still in works. That's my baby. It has to be perfect before I post.

19/11/08- HALLO ALL. So updates: Art of War Chapter 3 up. 4 is in works; I'll aim for Friday. Cherry Tree Chapter 5 is up. I also re-edited the entire thing. Not grammar. Just plot editing. Some grammar. That was hard. It is already 20k words and up. Chapter 6 should be up by tonight--after I finish my essay. :)

16/11/08-So The Art of War is now posted. Chapters 1 and 2 are posted. Chapter 3 is done. Chapter 4 is about 1/4th finished. Someone, please give this girl a medal. I will post Chapter 3 a) as soon as Chapter 4 is finished b) following that doesn't happen by the 18th, then on the 18th! Chapter 4 should be up by Friday at the latest.

I know I have totally neglected Cherry Street, and that story still frustrates me till no ends, but I'll work on it just because it feels good to get things done. SO I'm going to promise you a chapter (not a lenghty one) by Friday.

12/11/08- Cherry Street is basically defunct now. But I'm working on something new. I don't know if I'll pick it up again. Depends. The something new needs some work though.
