Everyday is the same as before but what happens when a certain blonde foster starts to attend troubled teens and changes things up a bit. Four realizes that they kind of share the same problem. Beatrice Prior had to be the child that stayed after Caleb left her family for Erudite. Her initiation lasts only a week so her family can recover the loss of Caleb and cope with Erudite's reports. However, when she goes to the train tracks to think about the life she could have had, she meets Four , who gives her an irresistible offer: To be who she wants to become-Dauntless.

When all your life you've had nothing, what happens when you've finally got something worth losing—someone worth dying for? Tris is in her final year of college, a student who seems to have no past, and Tobias, a student professor fleeing from his old life. What happens when they meet? Will their pain make or break them? Forgotten memories may resurface, but so do old enemies.

Tobias wasn't the only abused one in Abnegation. Caleb is praised for his selflessness, while Tris is hidden away like a disease. What if Tobias recognises what she is going through? What if Tris is pushed one step too far? There is a difference between living and surviving. Some, however, take a little longer to realise. *Slow romance.*
