The Others won. Bran & Daenerys, at the world's end, decided to change the course of history. They are returned to the past with their memories intact, and so are many people that they will need on their side to rewrite history. With the looming threat of the Others, and the arrival of Daenerys Targaryen in Westeros, the Game of Thrones moves to its final bloodsoaked conclusion. A second dance of dragons and Littlefinger's master plan, along with the remains of previous conflicts will bring the most destructive showdown that Westeros has seen to date. The Night's Watch doesn't appeal to Jon Snow, so Ned allows him to leave for King's Landing with his sisters. There must always be a Stark in Winterfell, and there's about to be some snow in King's Landing.
