This little story, or big depending on how you look at it, is not something that you would expect to hear about. It is not a story of great deeds, or about a great hero. She wasn't a hero. She was a fisher from Alaska doomed to a life she never would have chosen and quest that wasn't even hers. Her adventure was entirely unexpected. Or at least, that's how the story went.

Four years after the movie, Claire gets a late night phone call from the last person she'd expect to hear from. This is a Claire/John fic, but is very heavy on aspects of John's life and things resulting of his involvement with Claire. This fic is complete in 204,000 words, so it's a long one.
