![]() Author has written 3 stories for How to Train Your Dragon. Don't know how to write a profile but here we go i'm a fanfiction writer who lives here on fanfiction.net, I go by the online name of Daggur. Huge HTTYD fan, reading and writing. my favorite writer on the platform is Toothlessgolfer, but i really look up to writers such as VigoGrimborne, Cke1st, AND Thursday 26 (probably not the best role model) I have a twitter for FFN @daggur_fanfic, I would love to talk to some of you guys, especially if your would be OK with using fury speech from "Brothers Of Night". favorite story: Brothers Of Night, coming pretty close is Innocent Hopes, Twisted Realities/ When nothing remains and The "Living" series by VigoGrimborne also The color of family by Thursday26 location: Ontario, Canada favorite rtte episode: family on the edge, loved Dagur's sacrifice at the end, and the music! httyd rating:10/10 httyd 2 rating:8.5/10 hidden world rating: 6/10 Favorite musician: John Powel, his work on the HTTYD soundtrack is phenomenal. Elton John is also a legend. Cavetown is cool too, Ed Sheeran also has some good songs personally, i wish there was more emotional trauma in the movie, the dragons seemed to move on too easily, Fishlegs gave up Meatlug way easier than he did in "gift of the night fury" even though there was a large time gap for growth nobody even questioned if it was neccasary and just said goodbye. what would happen to Dagur and Heather? are they just not cannon, or would they find berk abandoned? i thought that as a coming of age trilogy that the third movie would have him settling in at the cheif but by the time we see hiccup he already is comfortable. did hiccup and Astrid not get betrothed in RTTE? did they just wait like 9 years before actually getting married? did all the dragons move to the hidden world or just berk's dragons? if so, did the great protector just up and leave? does vanaheim have no significance anymore? In short i feel like there is too much action in the movie and not enough emotional trauma of a lifelong (so far ) friendship, the dragons seem too willing to leave, and many characters get abandoned, don't get me wrong, it was a great movie, John Powel did great on recreating the soundtrack from HTTYD 1 for the second time, and I was happy to see Jonsi create another song for HTTYD, but it really was not what i was expecting or hoping for. please don't hate me for not loving hidden world, I blame thursday26 for making me love emotional trauma. As of now I'm trying to use Vigo Grimborne's strategy of writing the full story before starting to post. I hope to at least stay a safe amount of chapters ahead. stories currently posting Raid Takes place after HTTYD 3, Hiccup and the Riders must deal with new threats, hunters are still attacking them, and Dragons start raiding. they need to survive this without their dragons! Home is on a Dragons Back (on hiatus) stories currently being written stories planned Unnamed story- the events of HTTYD 1 play out, but with one key difference, Stoick is not the chief. Stoick and hiccup need to work together and fix their muddy relationship, family is family. My Guide to HTTYD writers (not in any ranked order) (if you are not on this list it's not because you are not good, it's probably because I have not had enough/ any conversations or interactions to get a sense of who you are) Toothlessgolfer A super level headed guy. Only has two big (non one-shot) stories up on his profile but is working on a sequel to Brothers of night. once he starts posting he keeps on his schedule as promised. has managed to make a system of speech for night furies that had people so invested into his work that we started sounding like weirdos while trying to have a conversation with normal people. Overall super cool guy. VigoGrimborne Probably one of the most consistent posters on the site. He writes fast but still keeps the quality to a professional standard. his stories are super detailed and are thought out extremely well, many details are added that your would never have noticed if they were missing. Cke1st Has a massive library of stories, if you're new to the HTTYD fandom on FFN then definitely scroll down his profile, there are sure to be a bunch of good stories and one shots to read. Also seems to have trouble with limiting characters In his stories, but only the really long ones. If you have read it, your know what I mean. Stig92 A pretty legendary writer who has been writing a single story since 2015, not much is known about this mysterious figure. His profile is empty except for one story. he updates roughly once a month. Thursday 26 The Queen of angst. Is so angsty and rebellious that you need to go to archiveofourown to find their stories. It is rumored that they are perpetually 13 and upset at their parents. has some 18 stuff so readers beware. Is otherwise pretty cool to talk too, they also have a twitter account @_Thursday_26 but sadly only have 16 followers. Seriously go check out their stuff, highly underrated. Daggur the Deranged its me, the most unreliable writer ever, my one story is currently on hiatus and may never return because I'm writing something else now. bad writer, bad person but most importantly I just spent a bunch of time I was supposed to be writing with reworking my profile. Simply Genius. |
