Sherlock doesn't adjust particularly well to living with his brother. Mycroft doesn't either. But then no one ever said escaping home would solve anything. Part of the Can't Rewind Verse.

It astounded John to no end that someone as unfathomably brilliant as Sherlock Holmes could fail to understand the simple concept of manners. Being the morally better half of the duo, he felt it was his responsibility to rectify that. Or: John teaches Sherlock how to say 'Please' and 'Thank You'.

A cabbie picks up an unusual passenger one freezing night. He has no coat, a big bruise on his forehead, and seems a bit confused before he rushes off into the darkness. What is a cabbie to do but follow?

Mycroft pays a visit to Baker Street to do some consulting, and finds himself assisting in child-minding.{Future AU, John/Sarah pairing}

Sherlock's hard-drive needs to be cleaned up; viruses detected, malware files deleted, memory freed up, order restored. Follows on chronologically from Musgrave Blaze, but there will be enough back story to stand alone if you haven't read that yet.

John didn't think it was possible until he witnessed it with his own eyes. In a moment of surprise, Sherlock's brain shuts off and his body takes the lead. The six seconds that follow are ferocious and brutal and terrifying - and John is almost as afraid as Sherlock. One-shot.

As both a doctor and a soldier, John knows bones are easily broken. Despite this he finds that, in a moment of anger, it's easy to forget how fragile Sherlock's might be until it's too late.
