Hmm...well, first off, my name is Paige. I've been reading The Outsiders for as long as I can remember. It truly is a great book, and I admire S.E Hinton for letting us play around with her characters. Even if we do tend to make those tuff greasers into sick-love puppies. I'd have to say I'm a lot like each and every character in the book. Not so much Johnny, but hey, we have some things in common. I like to read The Outsiders because it's nice to be able to relate to their life styles - though I do not live in the greaser environment, only wish I did. My favorite characters would probably be Two-Bit, Steve and Dallas. They are to most real to me. I love Sodapop, but he is to much of a Gary-Sue in my opinion. He's hard to write about, but I do try my best to get into his head. Some things I really hate about The Outsiders FF, is the whole slash scenario. I mean, really guys? Dallas and Tim? The two tough greasers in Tulsa who never cry - suddenly fall head over heels for each other? Pony and Johnny are strictly best friends, as are Sodapop and Steve. Two-Bit is just a blonde-lovin' type of guy, who is clearly not into men. None of them are. To be honest, I don't like reading about Ponyboy. He is a dreamer, and a real sweet guy, but I just can't get into it. Soda going to Vietnam breaks my heart, and makes me stomach churn. I just can't seem to let go of him - even if he is probably my fourth favorite. There isn't much I can tell you about myself, unless you personally ask. Soooo just PM me if you ever want to talk!

Recommendations:

There are some really amazing authors on FF who don't get as much reviews/attention as I believe they should get.

divine energy: She truly is an amazing writer with a talent she is using in good ways. She is probably one of the best OC-writers I have come across, and her story is truly brilliant. It is original, makes sense, and is anything but bad. You really should check her stories out if you want to read a good and regularly updated FF.

youtakemybreathaway: You probably have seen this fabulous reviewer around at one point or another. She really does know a good story, and stays loyal when reviewing. She has a pretty good FF going, and it doesn't have many reviews. Check it out - you won't regret it.
