Before we get to my normal profile, let's take a minute to discuss some things. If you aren't American, you can skip over this section. It is not quite as directed at you, though you probably need to have a talk about it too.

Americans, what is wrong with you? Why are there multiple locations in my country where large scale citizen action is attempting to keep a religious group from building a house of worship? Why is there a "church" in my home state that is holding a burn the Koran day? Why are my countrymen acting like poor people from Mexico pose ANY threat to the United States or freedom and democracy?

Why have we let our nation come to this? Are we cowards, afraid of those different from us? Where have you gone, greatest generation, who threw down their lives a continent away to free oppressed millions they would never know? Where are the freedom riders, willing to endure beatings and murders at the hands of the bigoted to show that America stands for freedom for everyone?

You want something to copy and paste? Copy and paste this. Copy and paste that you won't let people simple be wrong around you, besmirch everything that our nation stands for, and go uncorrected. Copy and paste that you will no longer sit idly by and mutter to yourself. Copy and paste this, that you will never again say, well, I can see that I'm not going to convince you, so why don't we just stop arguing?

The time for standing by is gone, my fellow Americans. Start talking. Start demonstrating. Start arguing. Start fighting.

And for Christ's sake, don't JUST copy and paste it. Live it.

I first met Twilight in my sophomore year at college. I was starting to become friends with a freshman in my dorm (it's a long process for me, so get over it), when she gave another of her friends 18 forks as a birthday present. Needless to say, explanations were in order.
