Wow. It's been nearly five years since I've last been here.

Greetings, everyone, I'm DormantShadow- I also go (or went) by Shady. Welcome to my updated bio, starting at 10/8/14. I'm quickly approaching 20 years old as I write this. Since I started my Inuyasha and Okami fanfictions, I took a long hiatus-- more than four years-- and to all those who messaged me, who reviewed, who even begged me to return and write once again, I am very grateful, infinitely grateful, and I am very sorry.

I hit a very difficult time in my life four years ago. I completely and utterly lost my fire. It simply sputtered out. Things happened that I would not care to explain, but know that I am back, and I do intend to write once again. Maybe in Inuyasha, maybe in Okami. Most likely, it will be something else. I've picked up a lot of new interests in four years (though I still adore both Inuyasha and Okami). But just in case, I'll be keeping my fanfiction ideas below, and I definitely will not be deleting anything. Maybe I'll return to them once again, or start a new, greater project and revise them and add some new "Shady" flair. After all, I can not stand my own fics any longer-- I've improved beyond what I thought possible since then, and looking back on my writing, it's like reading the stories of a five-year-old.

So much has happened. I am now a junior in college pursuing a degree in English, with an emphasis in film and creative writing. I plan on a career in game writing and design. My former editor has moved on, she's kicking tail in school as well. We're still very close friends, which I am very glad for. I've been helping my friends write their stories and fanfictions of their own, some of which you may have read, who knows. I've found so many new friends, and I even picked up a boyfriend along the way two years back, mystically. And they all spur my passion for writing even further than I could have dreamed.

So look up, my friends. Give me some motivation! Give me my drive! Because I will be writing. I will be scrawling my chicken scratch across the paper until my hand and ears begin to smoke. And I will be publishing my work for all you beautiful people to read, whether here or on FictionPress. I'm feeling alive again, and I want to give my work all the life I can. So expect something from me. I don't know when, but hopefully it will be in the very near future.

I love you all, you've been such a blessing. And I can't wait to put smiles on all your faces once more.

When Ron and Harry return from the Ministry looking worn, depressed and stressed to their limits, Ginny and Hermione are told of their terrible day at work and try to help their husbands, but to no avail. The kids soon decide to step in to help wear away painful, old memories.

Amaterasu and Issun find out to forget the past and live unprepared is a huge mistake. Ten years later, after the demise of the Lord of Darkness, a new, unknown force wreaks havoc on the earth and it's up to the wolf goddess, the traveling artist, and the half-baked prophet to save the day... along with a sun-god-in-training and some other new friends.

Another One Bites the Dust

InuYasha (Expected chapters: Possibly fifteen to twenty.)

Kagome is the new girl in town. With a passion for photography and a fear of vehicles, she feels like she is the only one with some sense in her new home of Wakayama, which is currently under the rule of the handsome, golden-eyed, silver-haired street racer known as the Hanyou. With some dramatic flashbacks, idiotic boys and their cars, the excited chatter of friends, and some coffee wars in the mix, things are sure to get hectic for our heroine.

Humor/Romance.

Inuyasha/Kagome, Miroku/Sango coupling, along with some possible others.

Inuyasha comes to fetch Kagome from her own time, but is instead persuaded into eating dinner with the Higurashi family. Before they sit down to their meal, Inuyasha gets down on one knee and declares his love for... Ramen? Open-mouthed stares may follow suit.

Pins and Needles

They keep me here, leave me to rot in these stone walls, suck the damn life out of me. They stick me with needles, draw my blood, shock my nerves, tap into my emotions, test my endurance in freezing water, strip me down until the fucking floor sucks the warmth out of my body.
