Her fate was sealed thanks to her father, but after an accident where one of the Schnee maids becomes fatally injured, he had no choice but to finally settle with hiring a faunus employee. Little did Weiss know that the faunus that her father hired would change her life... for better, AND for the worst.

(AU) In a Remnant where it is faunus, not humans, who hold the majority, where the basics of the world have been turned on their side, what stories are to be told, in a world of Fang and Claw? Weiss was mute, an injury obtained from the day that she had spoken up against her abusive father, and he had ripped her vocal chords out, nearly killing her. He was arrested for murder a few days later, and for awhile, Weiss had been free. But when allies of her father begin to hunt her down, Weiss must go back to the darkest corners of the world to escape their wrath.

Team CFVY is one of the only 2nd year teams seen in RWBY, Velvet is my favorite character and this is a story of how she joined Beacon, joined team CFVY and progressed through the year, found love and friends. This Velvet is my own head cannon version, as I role-played her before she was properly shown in the series, so there are things different from the show. Enjoy!

Backtrack to when team CFVY were mere first years. This is there story of how they came to be. Shipping Coco x Fox and Velvet x Yatsuhashi. Full of serious battles that contrast the innocent humor within the story. Coco starts out a bit more authoritative before softening. Fox is blind, cheating with a sonar aid. Velvet is a bit more timid, and Yatsuhashi hasn't loosened up yet.
