 I am a 28 year old father of two and married to my highschool sweetheart. I am a doctor of Chiropractic in Illinois, and I would not describe myself as the stereotypical Twilight fan. One of my female patients talked me into reading twilight and I have been hooked ever since. I am an avid reader. In fact my favorite author of all time is Louis L'amour, who if you don't know, is a great American novelist most known for his work in Westerns. Again I am not the stereotypical Louis L'amour fan either. So my tastes in Literature run from that of white-haired old men to that of teenage girls. I get made fun of all the time for what I read. I even have to laugh at myself sometimes. I signed up for a Louis L'amour book club and with-in weeks I started getting AARP brochures in the mail. I guess AARP assumes all of Louis' fans are old dudes too. I better not sign up for a twilight fan club or I might start getting brochures about training bras and tampons. lol. Anyway, what I can say. I can't explain why I like the things I do, but I just read what grabs me, and twilight has grabbed me stronger than any other series I have ever read. I'm a little embarrased by that, but not ashamed. I'm not a closet fan, I scream it from the rooftops. lol. The buddies don't like to talk twilight though on poker night tossin back some beer. |
