Hi, I'm Generic Fanfic Writer 101, the poster boy for mediocrity ever since...whenever my join date was. I'll be sure to throw in many horribly cliched twists, sprinkle in some Original Characters, make a couple of the things you guys call "Mary Sues", and generally make you hate your life as you churn through one of my horribly bland stories.

Hopefully my time spent here will be a learning process and make me a better writer.

5/02/2011 - Yes, it's miraculous. I have come back from the land of the dead.

Good news: My next chapter should hit by August

Bad news: Might be delayed further because of complications that I will spare you the agony of discussing

Better news: Finally creating version 2 of Chapters 1+2. Now with 99% more realism and 1% less ridiculous pep-talks.

Best news: Deleted most of the comments on my update section so your eyes won't be so strained

Mixed news: I'm going to go under what appears to be a hiatus again, but don't worry - I'm working on stuff.

@DragonShina Review #3 - I'm trying to upload chapters faster, but some days I can just write for hours while other days I just sit in front of my computer staring blankly at the screen after having hit a writer's block. :(

@Eipok Review #2 - Thanks for the slight tip, it's Viery not Viety, you're right. In any case, it still sounds too much like "Vionna" so if you could be so kind as to give me a new name for the territory, that would be appreciated. Thank you for your feedback regarding the (admittedly) massive spoilers concerning Halo: Cryptum near the end. I kind of figured it would give Mendicant Bias a more interesting viewpoint, but I wasn't sure how it would go over. So, yes, I will change his thoughts to be more ambiguous. Expect the re-write to hit Sunday.

@SpartanNinja Review #3 - Oops. My bad. My explanation is this: Tartarus is pissed off that so much of his pack had died already that's he's just going to commit his forces to a "vengeance hunt." It's not like Fortitude will care much anyways; the history of the Covenant shows that whenever accepting a race into the hegemony, that species would always be bombed into submission first. Unfortunately, Harvest will have to be made into an example before a relative "peace" can happen. I'll put this in the revision of Chapter 2 too, thanks for the pointer.

@DragonShina Review #2 - Like you would probably expect, Maccabeus will be *SPOILERS* executed *SPOILERS*

@SpartanNinja Review #2 - Really? Because I sincerely believe it is horrible. Your review cheered me up a bit, though.

@SilencePete7 - Thank for spotting a minor error in the prologue. You're right, it's Sangheili not Shangheili. Good of you to spot that! Fixed the prologue with that change, and I noticed that one of my sentences wasn't complete so I fixed that too.

@ Atomic Shark - Don't worry, I'll finish this story if it's the last thing I do. (Bit ominous there, eh?)

@SpartanNinja Review #1 - Well I think if you have that story idea you should go for it. Granted, looking at your profile now you seem like you're quite the busy writer, with already two fanfics in progress. Still, once you finish those, it would be cool if you went ahead with your idea. I, for one, think that you would probably do a much better job than I have.

@ The Last Human - To be completely honest, I have no idea where it'll lead either.
