I used to be an avid book reader. Now, I'm an avid fan fic reader. I was rather a latecomer to the Twilight series. I read them in March of 2008. Like most everyone else I know, who will admit to it, I finished the books inside a week. That weekend, Twilight came out on DVD. I was so excited, I couldn't stand myself. I got the DVD and hated it! I knew it wasn't going to be the same, and I was prepared to notice missing scenes and such, but everything about it made me laugh or mad - except the baseball scene before the growling. It took watching it about 3 times and then with the commentary before I could find the goodness in it. Now, I watch it for the unintended humor and the pretty. Man, I love that pretty.

I've been reading fanfics since I finished Meyer's books and I haven't gone back since. I often confuse canon characterizations with those from some of my favorite fics, or fics I wish were canon. My favorites list is a partial list of the stories I'm reading or have read or want to read. So, if you are looking for something, check there. Most of them have been highly rec'd already, but there are a few quiet gems in there as well.

I have completely immersed myself in the twilight fandom. I listen to the podcasts, visit many forums, and I'm on twitter. Mostly I lurk, but if you see me, say hi. I have the same handle on everything.
