What would happen if Mr. Thomas Bennet had made a secret marriage before marrying Fanny Gardiner? What if Elizabeth and Jane were the fruit of this marriage? What would have been their future? And that of the other characters?

What if instead of having five daughters he had Jane, a son & Lizzy, Mary and Kitty. How would everyone be effected if Longbourn was safe and how would Mr. Bennett raise his children without Mrs. Bennett? AU

Elizabeth is sent to London to enjoy the fall season and does not return to Longbourn until Christmas of 1811. (This is a relatively short story - about 25K words - and it focuses almost entirely on Darcy & Elizabeth.)

After spending 10 years living in solitude after the death of her husband and son, Mrs. Marianne Westfield nee Bennet decides to spend Christmas with her brother's family. Getting to know her nieces gives her an idea that will work to the benefit of all.

Reading P&P, Mr Darcy's feelings seem rather acute, but do not get much attention. This story explores them from the moment just after his rejection, to beyond his actual marriage. The action follows P&P exactly, but some secondary characters, most notably Georgiana and Mrs Younge, push the boundaries of Miss Austen's description. The style of writing diverges from hers ever more.

Pride and Prejudice but each chapter will have a different "what if" that will lead the characters to new and different circumstances. Set in the regency period with a modern flair. Mix between the Novel and the 2005 movie. Please R&R

One week after the Netherfield Ball, Lizzy receives a letter from Georgiana Darcy informing her that Mr. Darcy is gravely ill and asking for her to come to London to be with him.

P&P AU - What if there was a scandal in the Bennet family prior to Darcy meeting Elizabeth, could he overcome his pride? What if Elizabeth saw him as another immoral gentleman, could she overcome her prejudice?

When Miss Lydia Bennet is attacked on the road to Meryton on the morning after the Netherfield Ball, suspicions arise on all fronts. Was it a local tradesman's son? Highwaymen? Are the militia men responsible, or will they be the ones to apprehend the murderer? And why has the Netherfield party run off to London the morning after their ball? Truly, a most untoward circumstance...

An alternate tale of a classic love story had the protagonists' characters and circumstances been a little different.

Darcy does not accompany Bingley to Netherfield. Therefore, he does not meet Elizabeth until his first trip to Rosings, resulting in some major changes to the way their relationship develops.

Onie Thatcher has settled into her life as the oldest Herald-trainee in the Collegium when a new student arrives who might lead her to the origins of her fatherless nephew and an unexpected Choosing brings a new person to the Queen's service.

Elizabeth never meant for this to happen. One mistake-one simple mistake-and her life had unraveled around her. Now, on a path she never expected or wished for, she must learn about herself, about the things that are lost along the way to who we will become, and about the power love has to heal as well as to harm. After such a mistake, can she truly ever be happy again?

The Heralds of Valdemar have their gifts, but they also have families. As much as their gifts, the parents of Heralds have much to do with the character of the Chosen. Darcy's past hardships alter his views of love and marriage so much that he makes choices none who knew him would have anticipated.
