Confession/stating the obvious: my stories almost always involve bebehs. Having lots of bebehs. (With the exception of some of my humorous pieces.) Probably a not-so-subliminal way of coping with the fact that I can't have any. No pity necessary, just keeping it real.

UPDATE: the above disclaimer, which greeted my profile visitors for nearly 7 years, is no longer applicable. Proving God does indeed have a sense of humor, my husband and I had our first child in January 2017, after 10 years of nothing.
Of course, all the stories penned during that decade of nothing will still remain on here. They served a very real purpose and I hope they'll continue to entertain readers for years to come.

Stories are on hiatus due to the high-maintenance nature (and insatiable appetite) of a baby who was born 11 lbs. And at 4 months old, he's already the size of a one-year-old. He. Eats. So. Much.

I tend to go through phases or "binges" with my writing. Usually I can only generate 1 or 2 decent plotlines for any given subject, and then my inspiration runs out. That's just the way it is for me. I marvel at authors who've written two dozen stories for the same category. Either my imagination isn't that hot or I love too many things to linger on one for too long.

Other areas I may someday explore are Star Trek TNG and Sailor Moon. Be warned - Star Trek will most likely be humor/parody. Ever since I heard that Brent Spiner was the only cast member who didn't require on-the-set girdling under his costume, I haven't been able to look at Jonathan Frakes or Michael Dorn the same way again. Enough said.
