Thorin is sceptical of Gandalf's choice in the new members of his company. He could adapt to the Hobbit easily enough, but the woman, who claims to be a sellsword, of all things, is slowly driving him mad. Though not necessarily in a bad way.

After the battle comes the peace. All is well in Erebor. But there is a sadness in Kili that was not there before their journey. A sadness, and something else, too - for problems imperfectly solved may recur, and always when least expected.

Because if Kili survived, so much would have changed. (BotFA fix-it, Kiliel coming of age AU)

This is an alternate storyline I started quite a bit ago, picking up from the end of "Desolation of Smaug." Mostly a deeper exploration of Kili and Tauriel's relationship, hopefully it's enjoyable though. :)

A movieverse one-shot; my own, less than innocent vision of the Kili/Tauriel relationship on the eve of battle. Not overtly explicit, but rife with adult themes. Definitely not for young eyes. Inspired in part by the DoS soundtrack song "I See Fire," as sung by the very talented Ed Sheeran.

Tauriel wallows in devastation after the battle, not knowing that all hope may not be lost. AU. Spoilers for Battle of the Five Armies.

She wasn't expecting it and neither was- Oh, alright. He might have planned the whole thing. Fili sure seemed to guess what was going to happen.

"You'll take a dwarf's gold but not his hand?" he asked. Hanah reached out, and his hand clamped around hers like a bear trap. She had heard dwarves were as harsh as the rock they dwelled in, that any slight against them would be remembered, forever. But for that gold, Hanah would accept their business gratefully. (Post-BoFA.) Update 2017: slight rewrite ch1-6.

Sequel to "To Find Our Long-Forgotten Gold". Bilbo and company arrive at the Shire, and Kili's recovery continues, though not without setbacks (not least of them a certain Sackville-Baggins).

"Sometimes, my mother really has a way with words." - Story follows Kíli and Tauriel after DoS. What will become of the bond that they have formed? Rated M for later chapters.

AU of movieverse. It is many years since tragedy struck the line of Durin when the youngest heir was lost to a pack of orcs. Now Bilbo Baggins, having agreed only to stealing treasure from a dragon, finds himself instead tangled up in a web of tragedy and revenge, and finds that what is lost does not always stay that way.

Kili has a dream about a certain elf who just saved his life. A Hobbit romance fic about Kili the dwarf and Tauriel the elf. It takes place right where their story ended off in the movie by Peter Jackson. I hope you enjoy! I might update it in the future. Also, there's smut in chapter 4 and 5.

Fili just planned to have a quick wash at the lake. Sigrid just planned to do a little laundry. But you know what they say about best laid plans... (crossposted at AO3)

Kili and Tauriel have been bugging me to write something more serious about them, so here it is. Tauriel lets Kili out of the cells for some nighttime conversation and more. Then we follow the movie for a while- more or less. Chapter 7- Dwarves customs are explained, and there is some breaking up and some making up. Chapter 8- back to smutty sweet fluff, mostly.

Ok so this is a southern girl's wish for a literal version of a southern phrase, "Sun kissed." I might extend the story, I'm not really sure. I don't have any ideas of yet so for now it's just a one shot but it's not angsty so I hope you'll read it and enjoy it most thoroughly. The point is that Bilbo is trying to have a morning wank- Thorin cathches him, smut ensues.

Thorin Oakenshield meets a Mirkwood elf named Tauriel, and their lives are changed forever. NOTE: Written Jan/Feb 2012 (last chapter May 2012), long before The Hobbit:AUJ came out. It's based on the book, plus photos of Richard Armitage as Thorin and of Evangeline Lilly (before her costume). I wanted to prove that Thorin could be a romantic hero - but RA has settled that question!
