Author has written 27 stories for Greek Mythology, Chronicles of Narnia, Sherlock Holmes, Homer, Les Miserables, Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold, Phantom of the Opera, Jane Eyre, Harry Potter, and Fairy Tales. Hello, Feedback on my stories is always appreciated, so if you've enjoyed a story or added it to your alerts or favorites do let me know your thoughts in a review. My Stories. Harry Potter. The Strength of Eris: Based on Snapegirlkmf’s story Two Hawks Hunting, this is the history of The Dagger of Discord one of Voldemort’s horcruxes. In The Keeping of Boreas: 4-25-2013 I highly recommend checking out the following link for background information on this story. I'm bringing in elements of George MacDonald's fairy tale At The Back of The North Wind for my first H P fic, so knowledge of MacDonald's work would be helpful before reading my story. The link will expire in a week, so if anyone wants the files after that just send me an email. One Thousand and One Nights: A short piece which focuses on Ginny Weasley and the students of Hogwarts. Set during Deathly Hallows. Abendsegen: Very little is known about the magic Lily used to protect Harry. This story is my answer to that mystery. Greek Mythology. Let Me Know Your Face: My first story to be posted online, and a prequel to an original work I’m in the progress of writing. It is a retelling of the legend of Semele, the mother of Dionysus. It is based on the writings of Homer and Ovid, and the opera composed by Handel in 1741. The thirteenth chapter is almost completed. The Choices of a King: Posted after reading Margaret George’s Helen of Troy, this retells the events of The Trojan War through the eyes of Zeus. Chain of Sorrows: A series of character sketches which cover events from the myths of Hades and Persephone, and the legend of Orpheus. I’m going to tackle different perspectives of various figures from classical mythology, and am happy to accept suggestions for anyone you would like me to include. Inspiration is drawn from Homer and The Orphic Hymns. Call of The Sea: A short tale set during The Odyssey, told from an unusual perspective. Let The Night Begin: This is a series of stories based on various fairy tales and legends such as Hansel and Gretel and Selene’s love for her sleeping shepherd. Chronicles of Narnia. Remember The Four: The story with the most reviews; this explores the perspectives of characters from both the books and movies, as they share treasured memories of the Pevensie children. In Darkness Born: A story where I branch out into unknown territory, this is the history/mythology of Tash and the other gods of Calormene. Lewis didn’t tell us much, so this is my attempt at exploring the cultures of Charn, Calormene and of course Narnia from intriguing perspectives. It will cover events from all seven Chronicles, and is based on ideas drawn from Greek, Egyptian and Celtic legends, plus a few fairy tales as well. Keeping Watch In The Night: A short piece told from a star’s perspective when she is sent by Aslan to carry out an important task. The Two Sisters: My version of the fall of Charn, and the tale of what took place between Jadis and her mysterious sister. Daughter of Narnia: The story of the apple tree that Digory planted in our world, and his choice to make it into the wardrobe. The Green Knight: Written in response to a challenge, this is told from the point of view of the witch in The Silver Chair as she prepares to capture Prince Rilian. Wandering Child: A story in progress, this explores scenes from The Magician’s Nephew through the eyes of Digory’s mother. Brynhildr’s Choice: Based on Chapter 22 of Remember the Four, this short tale explores the relationship between Susan and Rabadash. But unlike other stories, this one portrays both Narnia and Calormene in rather unsettling ways. A King’s Sacrifice: Written from Aslan’s point of view, this is the story of his journey to the stone table. Yggdrasil: Written in response to a challenge, this is the tale of a young centaur as she is brought before Jadis. Sherlock Holmes. Walking The Labyrinth: Set during The Devil’s Foot, this story chronicles the experiences of Holmes and Watson as they conduct their dangerous experiment. Cast Your Soul To The Sea: Based on The Five Orange Pips, this tale explores the thoughts of the Captain of The Lone Star as he sets off on his final voyage. Secret Soul: Written after reading one of my favorite adventures The Crooked Man, this story answers the question of what might have happened if Henry Wood had taken Watson’s advice. More chapters to be posted soon. Friend of The People: Based on VHunter07’s story a Matter of Taste, this explores a possible scenario she suggested during that story. Mainly what if friends and former clients of Holmes stood up to someone in the British government on their behalf? Jane Eyre. Slave of Honor: A series of short chapters in progress which focus onRochester, told from the viewpoints of people like Mrs. Fairfax, and Bertha. Phantom of the Opera. The Magician and The Princess: My first attempt to write something for one of my favorite musicals, this is a crossover between Phantom of the Opera and A Little Princess. It is influenced by both Kay and Leroux, and I hope to have the next chapter posted soon. Amadeus: A short story chronicling the final hours of Fantine’s life, influenced by the book, musical and 1998 movie of Les Miserables. Till We Have Faces. Shared Exile: Based on one of my favorite novels, this story explores the thoughts of Psyche during the events of the book. Many of these stories are in progress, and will be completed eventually. Updates may be slow due to life being busy, but I will definitely finish whatever I’ve posted even if it takes a while. Thanks for your interest in my stories. |
