![]() Author has written 2 stories for Phantom of the Opera. Hi everyone. I'm Victoria. I'm sixteen years old and I live in Illinois. I'm a junior in high school, and I love to write. I have obsessions with The Phantom Of The Opera and vampires that could be, and have been, deemed unhealthy. And even though I am not a particularly large fan of Harry Potter, I am a huge fan of Severus Snape, so you may see some Snape romance stories up here. I love hearing peoples' thoughts on my writing, so please, review! Let me know what you all think. My thoughts on Phantom: I like all of the versions. I thought the movie was fantastic, I also have seen the stage show numerous times and love it. But, in a "which is the best" kind of way, I prefer the book version. I think that the other versions stray from the story too much and don't keep Erik in character. I like my Eriks dark, cynical, cold, unstable, and brinking on evil. But that's not to say that he is without passion and kindness beneath the surface. :) Oh, also, you will never ever see me write an Erik/Christine story. I absolutely despise Christine, especially since I favor the book version, in which she was definitely the most unkind, compared to the other versions in which she was just slightly selfish. Current stories: "La Flamme Noir" - STATUS: ON HIATUS DUE TO HORRENDOUS WRITERS BLOCK Details: It's Erik/Original Woman. It's mostly Leroux based, except for the fact that I placed the chandelier drop at the end to suit my purposes (it was the only way to make the opera house abandoned and set the stage for my story). Also, there may be a few tidbits that I either make up or take from other versions, but like I said, it's mostly Leroux based, especially in Erik's characterization. This story also features a dark Erik as I described in my profile, so if you're looking for a romantic and fluffy Erik, this isn't what you're looking for. Also, the name is subject to change as I've been struggling with it. I really need help on this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |
