![]() Author has written 2 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, and Animal Crossing. Hey! If you wanted to know a little about me - and I'm going to assume that the thought has at least crossed your mind, seeing as you're viewing my profile - here's a little crash course! As of the time I'm writing this, I'm 22 years old and I'll be attending Central Michigan University for my final semester in the fall. I'm a computer science major and a math minor. I'm a guy. I'd do location to finish off the a/s/l triumvirate, but if you live in the US I'm pretty sure you can figure out where my school is located. If not, there's always Google. :P I write for fun pretty sporadically. Whether it's lack of motivation or just plain laziness, I'd like to pursue it more often. That's one of the catalysts behind my decision to create an account here. Fanfictions are still a bit of a foreign concept to me. Usually I write original works - or at the very least I'll write original stories with original characters set in a preexisting universe - so I'm hoping to improve some of my writing skills by forcing myself to stay true to each character's nature in my pieces on here. The first fanfiction I've EVER written was just uploaded yesterday, in fact. If you care to check it out, it's called "Tears of Joy," and it's set in the Fullmetal Alchemist Universe (yes, that is shameless promotion). I also draw (maybe doodle is more accurate) a little, and I have a deviantArt page with some of my artwork on it. As of right now, I have a stack of sketchbooks sitting next to me with a couple of things I want to upload, but the archaic scanner that was in our basement was made by a company *cough*HP*cough* that has only written drivers for Windows XP and below, which doesn't help me. I work out kind of a lot too. I'm not a huge gym rat or anything, but I do go to the gym to lift 4 days a week, and I work out 5 days a week. I also run, too. I've ran in the Detroit Free Press Marathon twice (both times I was running the half), and I plan on doing it again this year. I also have a huge problem with eating way too much, and while I can gain and cut weight fast, I'm always struggling with maintaining a weight that I'm satisfied with. I actually used to be pretty huge - 5'8", 260 lbs - but that was a good 3 years ago before I lost 90 pounds and started caring about my health. I'm hovering at 180 right now, and I'd like to get back to 170 or below in the next couple weeks (it's beach season, after all, and I have abs at that weight :P). I probably come across as someone who is incredibly vain with all this ranting, but really I'm just incredibly insecure about the way I look and I've noticed that my self-confidence is intrinsically tied to my appearance. I guess that's good enough, right? I don't think I've ever written this much about myself for a profile or bio EVER, and I definitely won't feel bad it everyone visits it and opts not to read it because of its length, but it's here if you're curious. :) |
