Author has written 3 stories for Inuyasha. I'm a 24 year old graduate student in CT. I love writing and thought I'd try my hand at fanfiction (it also serves as a distraction from my thesis and other issues :). I hope you like my story! I love anime, and try to read the manga that goes to the series I'm watching. I think my favorite would have to be InuYasha (as that's what I'm writing about now), but I'll watch/read some of anything. If you know of something good, email me and I'll check it out. My favorite couple is InuYasha and Kagome, but I also like Miroku and Sango and Sesshomaru and Kagura. Here are my takes on each couple and then the shard-hunting group as a whole. InuYasha/Kagome: I think they should be together, but I'm not a Kikyo hater. I can understand her point of view. She died, thinking InuYasha betrayed her, was resurrected against her will, finds out she has a reincarnation and that InuYasha is developing feelings for said personseems like a lot to handle. I wouldn't try to drag him to hell, but I also don't think I would be able to just sit and watch him fall in love with Kagome and live happily ever after while I rot away in a fake body. That being said, Kagome and InuYasha are interesting characters. Kagome is young, naive and from a completely different world (500 years would make Japan seem like another planet, in my humble opinion). She loves InuYasha, but is unsure of his feelings and her own, in my opinion. She questions his loyalty where Kikyo is involved (with good reason), but doesn't completely try to understand his side. She uses the SIT command to win arguments and for other petty reasons when it's really only to stop him from killing her or others. But she's a good friend to him and tries to get him to talk to her. InuYasha needs to decidehe can't have his cake and eat it toobut it is difficult for him to do so. It seems any time he thinks about things, someone comes and brings up Kikyo or the situation is such that he feels he is unworthy of Kagome. He is hot-headed and needs to slow down at times, but he has saved Kagome and the others so many times that it isn't funny. I think he'll be happy with Kagome, but I don't foresee a complete happily ever after for the couple. Everyone else has lost their family because of Naraku, with the exception of Kagome. I think that Kagome might have to sacrifice her family (via the well closing) and stay in Feudal times to be with InuYasha. That's just me and my ideas, please don't hate me for saying that. Miroku/Sango: They are an interesting couple. They like each other, but show it in different ways. He gropes her, she hits him when he gropes/propositions other girls. Don't really have much else to say on this subject, but when I do I'll post it here. Sesshomaru/Kagura: Ok, first of all let me say this: I will NEVER put Sesshomaru and Rin together romantically in any story. I'm sorry, I just don't see it. If they are ever in one of my stories together, then it will be as father and daughter. In my humble opinion, Sesshomaru would never lower himself to be bound to a human, and it's just kinda gross that he would one day marry the little girl that he raised. That's just me. I think that he and Kagura are a better match. They're both willful, proud demons who desire release from something. For Kagura, it is Naraku. She's a wind demon and can't stand to be chained and have her free-will revoked. For Sesshomaru, it's InuYasha. He sees him as a disgrace upon the family who was given a sword that is above him. Sesshomaru needs to defeat his brother and take the sword to prove himself worthy of it (instead of InuYasha), but his sense of honor won't let him take it dishonorably. I know I'm rambling and it's late, so I'll stop. |
