Basic Information

Name: Tori "tee jay" Jo

Age: 25 years young

Location: Pennsylvania, United States

Status: Straight and NOT single

Reading, Writing, Listening & Watching Interests

Books: None. I've never been able to get into a book series or even a comic. A few times I can pick up a comic book based on one of my favorite video games, but it's not a priority.

Television: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Prison Break, Law & Order (original, Criminal Intent and Special Victims Unit), Dateline NBC, Forensic Files (and most other criminal and detective based shows), Intervention, Obsessed, Deadliest Catch, Headbanger's Ball, Top Chef, American Dad, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Roseanne, Golden Girls and there's probably a few more that I can't think of.

Movies: Horror, Independent films and Comedy. It's hard for me to get specific.

Video Games: Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy, Far Cry, Red Dead Redemption, Left 4 Dead, Grand Theft Auto and a few more ones I can pick up, play and enjoy.

Music: Metal. Hardcore. Death/black metal. I still enjoy some punk rock. AFi, O.T.E.P., Lamb of God, Dry Kill Logic, Norma Jean, Devildriver, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, and many, MANY more.

What I write: My interest when it comes to fan fiction is mostly all about the video games I like. It's easiest to take control over something you already have control over. I like the idea of playing a character and then, should I choose to, bring that character (or an original one) to life and place them in a situation like that of the game. I'm not so sure I could make a fiction about a television show. I don't feel like there's enough, um, "connection," between the viewer and the T.V. person. When playing a game, you already dictate the actions and I feel like the personality and storyline just becomes natural.

Bio

To make this as brief as possible so I don't get finger cramps or bore the world, I'm just freaking awesome. I love myself. Sure, I hate my life sometimes and get annoyed by certain things that occur, or habits I form, but overall I still think I'm pretty damn cool. I'm a lot of fun. I'm cute, funny and friendly as fuck. I am intelligent, but I'm also the stereotypical ditzy blonde. But you'll get over it. You can either love me or hate me. Yes, cliche, but I say it better than any of y'all. And it's more true about me that it was about that one hit wonder that sang that damn song. What was her name? Exactly. Anyway, it doesn't bother me if you read some of my work and think it's talentless. However, just the same, should you enjoy it, it still won't effect my feelings towards my work. I welcome any criticism that has brains behind it. "That's dumb," "That's awesome," or even "You're so good!" Those all do not count as constructive. Any remarks based on "use spell check" or "get a dictionary" will make me giggle. I am dyslexic. Even spell check can't fix that. And when I write I cannot stop and check up definitions to words in the middle of my typing. I am well aware of what certain words me, and I do look them up. However, proof reading is how I tend to find my mistakes. If I miss something, that's cool. Tell me. I'll go back, double check, and revise if needed. I'm pretty flexible like that.

Besides loving to pretend I'm some amazing screenwriter, I'm just bad ass ;) I am MORE than willing to read your work and tell you exactly what I think of it, but if it's something I am not interested in (I.E. yu-gi-oh, CSI, or whatever) I will not. There's no way I can judge something correctly without being knowledgable in the subject. Plus, it would be hard for me to get into a storyline involving fake science or a bunch of crackhead kids playing with cards... Doesn't hurt to ask, I guess?

I'm a girly girl. But a tom boy, too. I'll wear make up, heels and bitch about breaking a nail. But I'll be reapplying my lipgloss on the seat of a fourwheeler, running in heels scoring a touchdown in football, or break a nail pushing the "X" button too hard on my PS3 controller. For sure. I'm this cool. If you really need to know more or if you're interested in what the hell I look like, go to my myspace page. There's a facebook, too. But I can't recall the link.
