Author has written 4 stories for Doctor Who. Hello, my name is Ryclar, a variation on Rycbar since all possible combinations of the password have been taken, so I am Run You Clever Lad and Remember. Anyways, that's where the name comes from. I am an avid fan of Doctor Who, despite only knowing it for a year. I have watched a few 1st, 2nd and 3rd Doctor, half of the 4th, all of the 5th, 8th's movie and all of New Who, and I am hoping on watching more of the other two doctors (1 and 2 I can't find a whole bunch of episodes due to their age and the whole BBC burning the old shows fiasco) and 3 and 4. Keep that in mind when I later do my favorite Doctors, and companions. While a Doctor Who fan, I am also a Potterhead and Sherlockian. I hope for Wholock, but I know it won't happen, unfortunately. Not a fan of Supernatural only because Doctor Who is as scary as I can really handle, though from what I've heard its a great show. More about me? Almost a college student in the physics sector, hopefully in the marching band as a mellophone, and an AB honor roll student (though I get more A's than B's... Darn you calculus!). WIP 1.) Five Five is just so awesome! He is extremely cute, and extremely chivalrous with a dark side. He loves cricket and despite him being one of the most vulnerable and human-like Doctors, he faces one of the only two companion deaths in all of Doctor Who's history, even if he was quite annoying. I always thought of him and Adric like father and son. Adric's intelligence, naivety, and arrogance reflect The Doctor in many ways, Adric just hasn't learned quite how to use his intelligence and arrogance like The Doctor does, making plenty of mistakes that any child could make in the same situation. However, all of this is not why Five is my favorite Doctor. Actually, it somewhat is. I loved the family feeling in the TARDIS. Personally I viewed Tegan and The Doctor as the parents and Nyssa and Adric as the kids, even after Adric died, there was still that family bond between them. There wasn't ever just one companion with him, unless you count audios and prose, but on screen, he's always had at least two, until his last and final episode. Tegan, Nyssa, Adric, then just Tegan and Nyssa (after all he immediately picks Tegan back up after Time-Flight), then Tegan, Nyssa and Turlough, then Tegan and Turlough, then Turlough and Peri, then for his death he was only with Peri, a very sad situation for a Doctor who loves his company, thinking of the companion who died, of all of his companions, as he died, his last words being of the one he could not save, Adric. 2.) Ten Does it need saying? Yes it does! So, Ten was my favorite until I finished with Five and he displaced Ten, which was quite surprising to everyone, including myself, considering I know Tennant's life story, and have plans for a great cosplay for him. Like Five, Ten was emotional, and actually... quite a bit like Five. A jolly, athletic sort, with a darker side if necessary. With the great hate of violence like most of the Doctors, Ten tried to talk his way out of things, give his enemies the chance to surrender, but took action when necessary. Plus, I am a sucker for romance, such as TenRose, Rosten, Roseten, whatever you want to call it. While Rose was not the best companion ever, she was also an amazing friend to The Doctor, saved him on many occasions, and helped Nine become how Ten is... and I don't mean by killing Nine. Enough about the companions. That's for later. Ten is number two because of his great love, his amazing hair, his running around his TARDIS like a dance, and that scene in Doomsday as he presses his face against the wall trying to be as close to Rose as he could. And Donna. And Martha. And Blink. And those brainy specs. My, oh, my. He's so much like Five. And that clash between the two tells us why. Tennant loved Davison when he was a boy! And now loves his daughter. Any who!!! He didn't want to go. 3.) Four I think this one's self-explanatory. Top two are human-like Doctors, and Four turns out to be the most alien of all the Doctors. His amazing jelly babies, and faking out the enemy to underestimate him by acting the fool, and wow, City of Death. That was a great episode, as Four shows off his stupid act, though the enemies do not believe him. And those eyes. His expressions, his face and his voice. All quite amazing, if I might say so myself. Four can look angry, serious and the next, the complete opposite. He could be completely acting silly but appear serious. And his jokes get worse as the situation worsens, meaning he doesn't stop trying to make the best out of the situation, he doesn't give up, and he tries to keep his party confident in his ability, even if he doesn't tell them everything that he's going to do, and hypnotizes his companions (*cough* *cough* Sarah Jane *cough* *cough*) despite their protests. Four earns the number 3 spot due to his nailing of the alien personality and keeping The Doctor quite loveable despite everything so alien about him, and some of his meaner moments. Four is really like a big child, my favorite quote being, 'What's the point of being an adult if you can't be childish sometimes?' 4.) Nine He was my first Doctor ever, like many others. I did not fall in love with him at 'Run'. I was uneasy about the show after that first episode, but there was something about The Doctor that helped me decide, alright, one more episode and then you can decide if you like it or not. And that's when I fell in love with him. His sassy mouth, 'What are you going to do? Moisturize me?', and all that emotion. I will say that him destroying Cassandra made a huge impact on me, and really showed just how sad this Doctor was. It was about a man who was torn by war, and you get to know that he was the last of his kind. And then he shows off just how happy he could be, meeting Dickens, and eventually going through a character arc from 'everybody dies' to 'everyone lives' with that smile of his and dancing with Rose and... oh, his development is great! He gives up his life for his companion, much like Five does, having the chance at choosing to live but the price of their companion dying. 5.) Two 6.) Eight 7.) One 8.) Three 9.)
