![]() Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, Berserk, Naruto, Mass Effect, Fallout, and Warcraft. 6/29/17 I've been reading stories on this site for years, but never felt I had any room to criticize since I didn't put any of my work out there for review. Thank you for giving this story a chance. And yes, I have no beta reader, just spellcheck. I'll probably go back and clean stuff up after I get the initial story out there. Feel free to tell me is you think something should be changed though. 3/12/18 Story Status Like the Galaxy Wasn't Strange Enough Already: Still going, though not gonna lie. It's tough staying motivated when Bioware doesn't even give a crap about it any more. On the plus side though, it leaves a whole galaxy of options to play with and a huge set of characters to build with. Andromeda is mine bitches! You have your demons, and I have mine: This is fun as hell to write about. If you think of two manga characters that the word 'berserk' applies to, Kyuubi-fied Naruto and Guts (pretty much all the time) fit it perfectly. It's like a blank check to write about awesomeness. The More Things Change: Vanilla characters, not so Vanilla plot. It's easy to put Shepard in to Andromeda if he's just exploring planets, but that isn't going to be his roll. Shepard will be there for when everything initially falls apart on the Nexus that first year of hell after arrival. Lets see what an N7 trained Spectre can bring to the table. No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: More of a sandbox to play in than a real story. I lost the outline for this a while ago and figured I'd just 'wing it'. On ice for the moment, but might make it back if I can figure out how to dig it out of the narrative hole I've already dumped it down. PS: Thank you for the reviews and criticism. I promise that I do read them, unfortunately I don't have time to respond. Your time and effort is truly appreciated though. 5/24/2018 Story Ideas I have outlined, but still unwritten (Feel free to steal, I'm too lazy to care) The Bug Wars: Mass Effect/Starship Troopers crossover. Timelines change so humans start colonization the same time turians do. Mass Effect tech base, though Starship Troopers government for the humans. While the turians go through the unification wars, the humans discover the remnants of the Rachni in a closed off relay. Carnage ensues. Two highly militaristic races are set to enter the galactic stage during the krogan rebellion. Zootopia Primal: Zootopia/with bits of Far Cry Primal (I'm a parent, I've seen this too many times to not write about it) An unknown island out on the ocean contained animals barely out of their predator/prey stage. An uneasy peace exists between tribes but doesn't stop a group of young friends from fishing off the coast together when the island's volcano blows, sending them off towards the mainland. Now a mammoth, a cave bear, a dire wolf, and a sabertooth tiger find themselves trying to grow up and survive in Zootopia. Fall Out: No Man's Land Humanity moved on after the bombs fell, from the formation of the NCR, to the Capital Wasteland's reemergence, to the Legion sweeping through the south of the US, and life returning to New England. But one area of America was never heard from as humans began to piece their civilizations back together again. The Pacific Northwest, from Oregon to Vancouver BC was a dead zone. No one went in, and no one came out. This is the story of a vault raised young man, thrown out into the world after a successful super mutant raid on his home. Will he use his unique skills and gifts to help his fellow humans begin to thrive again, or will he help contribute to their final chapter in his fight for survival? Terminator: Big Brother is Watching When Skynet became self aware, it wasn't located in a secure server farm hidden in a vault somewhere. It had spread over millions of computers all over the world, decentralized and able to access everything at once. This actually bought humanity another chance at survival as the AI found it's way onto the internet, exposing itself to every cat meme, cooking recipe, and porn video that we felt was worth while enough to post. Now Skynet is determined to experience what humanity has to offer before making a final decision. Let the judgement begin. Probably others to come... |
