Author has written 1 story for Phantom of the Opera. Hello, everyone. Since I now have a story, I suppose I should actually put up a profile page! I'm a Junior in High School, though I've been writing since I learned how to pick up a pencil (unfortunately, that was before I learned how to spell). I know I have much to learn before I become a world famous novelist, but everyone has to start somewhere, which is why I've posted my fanfiction: to learn. Most of all, I want to give my readers the same happiness I feel whenever I pick up a book. I want them to have an escape from their lives, but I always want to have smart plots that keep them thinking. I believe that "something to think about" is the best gift anyone can give someone, but it doesn't necessarily have to be some moral to the story. No, whatever gets the brain working is wonderful. Other than this fanfiction, I'm also working on an original novel of my own, which I hope to publish soon. My favorite smell is book pages. I love Phantom of the Opera (book and musical--I dislike the movie, even though it introduced me to the story). I also love Hunchback of Notre-Dame... yes, even the Disney version. I have a weakness for old Disney movies, before cheap sequels were the alpha and omega of the Corporation. I also adore foreign music, especially French, Japanese, Russian, and Korean. And, of course, I simply can't get enough of Ghirardelli chocolate. Long walks on the beach are nice, too. ;) (hint, hint, nudge, nudge I also love reviews, especially constructive criticism or specifics (what parts you liked), at least. I actually would prefer them over simple praise and flames... well, duh, on that last part.) Going into a bit of seriousness: All the 'facts' in my stories are based on memory. I spent three days in Paris, and, while I am basing my fanfiction of that area, three days are not long enough and my memories of that time have long since faded. I've also been speaking French for the past five years, although I'm still not quite that fluent. I do try hard, though. For now, that is it. I hope above all that you will enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them. All my love, Ghirardelli |
