I am a 70 year old grandfather of an author who told me about this site. I am a retired lawyer and this have the time to browse and read the stories. Unfortunately, many allusions to characters popular among young people are meaningless to me. I can learn however. I live in Rhode Island with my wife, to whom I've been married 46 years. We are proud grandparents of 3 grandchildren. See that girl you just called fat? She is starving herself. See that old man you made fun of because of his ugly scars? He fought for our country. See that young boy you just made fun of for always being sick? He has to walk home in the snow because his family is too poor. See that girl you made fun of for wearing too much makeup? You made fun of her for not wearing it too. See that boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. He doesn't need more at school. See that guy you just made fun of for crying? He found out that his mother is terminally ill. See that boy you just called stupid? He has disabilities and studies for hours and hours every night. See that girl you just called ugly? She spends every cent of her money on clothes and makeup, just so people will like her. There's a lot more to people than you see on the outside. Post this on your profile if you're against bullying, anywhere and everywhere. |
