Author has written 23 stories for Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: SG-1, Gilmore Girls, Firefly, Misc. Movies, and Doctor Who. (Looks into camera and adjusts the angle.) Leadership... Hey. I am teh Stargate: Atlantis/ Sg-1 obsessor, hear me ROAR! I am also totally random. Y'know, just your regular geeky, abnormal, sci-fi obsessed girl with too much time on her hands. Yeah, that one. I love: Stargate (duh!), Firefly/Serenity (I heart Simon!), Phantom of the Opera, House, Doctor Who, Christopher Eccleston, Dead Poets Society, Gilmore Girls, Harry Potter, LOTR, Babylon5, and Elijah Wood. Mmmm...those eyes! lol! Yeah, I could go on and on about his and David Hewlett's eyes. And Robert Sean Leonard... Note: And as I now have an LJ (as I point to homepage button shamelessly) I have posted Time in a Bottle there. Thanks to the lovely reviewers :D (And go read my LiveJournal! lol) Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own anything pertaining to Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: SG-1, Doctor Who, Phantom of the Opera (when I ever get around to posting those phics) or anything else I choose to write about. Except Jessalyn. She's all my creation. But other than that, it's something I cry over on a daily basis, so... Check out my fictionpress profile...I've posted a couple things. http://www.fictionpress.com/~velvetsea DragonCon 2006! Anybody go? Met Torri Higginson and Rachel Luttrel and got autographs! Squee! If you have ever fallen up the stairs copy this into your profile If you have ever pushed on a door that said pull copy this into your profile If you have ever been so obsessed with something that now everyone is scared of you because of its effects copy this into your profile My Ships: Stargate:Atlantis: Mckay/Weir (obvious much?) Sheppard/Teyla, Beckett/Cadman, occasionally Checkett (Beckett/Chair). And, after seeing HyperCaz's vid set to Rachel Luttrel's beautiful voice (Critical Mass), I can definitely see Teyla/Beckett. Stargate:Sg-1: Sam/Jack, Daniel/Janet, Hammond/Janet. Doctor Who: Ninth/Rose, Ninth/Jack sometimes, Ninth/Rose/Jack. House: Uhh...going back and forth between my OTP, House/Wilson (only slash pairing ever, btw, besides Nine/Jack, but that doesn't really count.) and House/Cameron. Phantom of the Opera: Erik/Christine. All the way. As far as I'm concerned, they're meant for each other. Firefly: Simon/Kaylee, Zoe/Wash, Mal/Inara, River/Jayne, some River/Badger. Speaking of ships, bear with me here, I am a HOPELESS romantic. In case you couldn't already tell...Or, rather, a hopeful hopeless romantic. Most of my fics will be shippy in some way, shape, or form, so if you like that sort of thing...Have fun! BTW: I hate Pete with every fiber of my being so I'm sorry to all you Pete/Sam lovers. Notes... 1. I love Erik even without Gerry Butler playing him. He's mine, I tell you, mine! (lol) 2. For any and all who are interested, there's a McWeir forum over at www.central.mcweir.com. PY (PurpleYin) started it. 3. My muses Erik, Jessalyn, Annaleka, Elise, and Jeremy will come attack me at the randomest times, so if there's a Nine/Rose drabble that seems a bit rushed to be posted, or some McWeir vignette that seems horribly random, because that's my word, don't blame me...blame them. And, yes, I know that 3 out of the 5 names are ones that have been used already and don't seem "new" or "fresh" or "creative," but oh well. 4. Random is my word. I use it all the time, whether or not something is, in actuality, random. And I use a British accent. Sorry, it's just kinda my thing. Quotes: "I will try, but despite what you all may think, I'm not Superman!" -Rodney in "The Storm" "And it's a damn good one, so take it or leave it!"-Elizabeth in "The Seige" "I'm not crazy: I just have another consiousness in my brain!" Rodney in "Duet" Oh, yeah: That one rocked :-) "Transporters are very small and get very hot. I'm more than happy to be in a transporter with Weir." --David Hewlett. Courtesy of HyperCaz, lucky person! "I'll just put a bucket on my head and pretend to be the Vorlon god Booji!" "That's it!" "Fine, I'll go find a bucket." -Marcus and Ivonova in "Voices of Authority." "I worship pudding: I have a bowl of it up on my mantle with a glass of wine,a dollar bill, and the Virgin Mary next to it!"-Lorelei in "Rory's Birthday Parties" "Yeah, but she's our witch. So cut her the hell down." --Mal in "Safe." "Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off as sure as the turnin' of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughtta fall down, tell ya she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home." --Mal in the BDM. My all-time, favorite quote! Such a beautiful, beautifully-crafted line. "Dammit Neil, the name's Nuwanda!" --Charlie "Nuwanda" Dalton, Dead Poets Society "I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life. And put to rout all that was not life..And, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived." --Henry David Thoreau. (Featured in Dead Poets Society) “Yes, Sheppard, the endless and unfailing sarcasm that accompanies your ever-so-faithful presence is my one true joy in my otherwise extremely stressful life. Do commence with the flow of your infamous and plentiful supply of words, I look forward to each pathetic mark of attempted wit with great anticipation.” --Rodney from atlantian's fic Stasis. She saw the lights and stars of a thousand galaxies, the brightness of universes all around her. Past, present and future becoming nothing, just a stream of endless feeling and emotion, facts and figures, raw data in her mind that made sense when she wanted it to. An old voice echoing in her head, a voice from long ago." --Rose's thoughts from xxasktheangels's fic Perfect Stranger "This haunted face holds no horror for me now/ It's in your soul, that the true distortion lies." --Christine in Phantom I think you need a doctor."--Ninth Doctor in Parting of the Ways. "She's probably wondering what four people could be doing inside a small, wooden box."--Capt. Jack in Boom Town. "You think you're so impressive--" "I am so impressive!" --Rose and The Doctor in End of the World "...and yes, the accent is whispers rather if you'll pardon the word DROP DEAD SEXY! (yeah...I guess you could say I like it )"--Lauradorable over at mcweir central talking about how Christopher Eccleston says fantastic. "Where's my dead person?" --My dad being overheard playing Oblivion. Actually a really good game. Paige and me quotes: "He's wearing leather pants!" --talking about Gerry Butler in Phantom "Masquerade!" "I'm not usually a 'ditzy-airy-would-you-like-coffee-with-that' type of girl, but for Leo DiCaprio, pretty much anything. Except die." "Handcuffs? Jeez! As if on the floor wasn't kinky enough!" --At 12:42 (or so) at a Gerry-obsession movie marathon. See the 2nd Lara Croft: Tomb Raider to understand. That was not my fault, actually...Paige takes full blame. "Christian? Wait...What if he was Muslim? Would he be named 'Muslim?' We'd just walk up to him and say, 'Hey, Muslim.'"--again at movie marathon, this time about a guy at our school. No offense is meant towards any person who is a part of the religion. "And if Carlotta gets within 20 feet of me, I'll scream, 'Get away from me, you freak!' Piangi, too." |
