DiT, Inc is a privately held, Texas-based corporation. DiT's initial efforts to fill a specific market need – water detection monitoring for computer data centers – led to a complete line of water detection products, from rugged point water detectors to complete monitoring systems that pinpoint leak locations. DiT's success prompted their customers to request monitoring capabilities in other areas. The first of these additional monitoring systems, pioneered by DiT, addressed “automatic changeover” between primary and secondary air conditioning systems, pumps, towers, etc. Many of the features and methodologies developed by DiT have become default industry standards today. As technology advanced and the number and type of equipment suppliers increased, end-users were becoming burdened with the costs of installing, operating and maintaining multiple monitoring systems. Each vendor of air conditioning, fire detection, power distribution, uninterruptible power source and other systems was marketing its own unique and proprietary monitoring system, none of which could be integrated with any other. With the introduction of a plug compatible conversion methodology to permit central site monitoring of input data from multiple diverse and unrelated sources, DiT saw its marketplace expand. Now with the wide spread use of TCPIP networks connecting companies offices and data processing centers across the nation and the world MiCore provides a seemless and simple way to connect remote buildings and support systems at very low cost. Let's us show you how simple wide area networking can be with MiCore.
