![]() Author has written 3 stories for Misc. Plays/Musicals, and Phantom of the Opera. Hello everyone! I don't want to change the words of the original biography on here, but I wish to update you on some things in my life so that you understand the long absence I have been through on here. First off, many of you will see the link to my homepage is no longer valid.. unfortunately it must have expired, as many things of my old life have. I have since divorced, the 18th of April, 2007 the divorce was final. It has been a difficult couple of years, a big time of adjusting and pain for the kids and myself, realizing there are many things to heal from. I find that the reappearance of this outlet through a new fan being added and my notification is a blessing to me, it is opening me back up after so long. The further encouragement of my new love, showing me that life goes on, who took over the job of Beta-ing my various other writing projects of the past year, and I must say has been my muse when I needed inspiration most, and Erik was not enough to keep my imagination working by himself, David.. He is my future, the one I thought I would never have, and I write now for him, ever hoping that as you, he shall always be patient with my grammatical challenges that make reading me difficult at times. I must humbly thank you all for your patience with me through the dark and difficult time I have just been through, may our journey back out into the light bring riviting destinations and conclusions for my stories. That said, I do humbly thank you for reading my stories regardless of my absence from the site for so long. Your attention is not expected nor taken for granted by me, I am most grateful to you all..I shall try not to disappoint you, though I must reacquaint myself with Fleur de Lis before I can continue. Thank you so much once again. enjoy my pre-separation self now as I introduce you hopefully with eloquence, to my stories' synopsis. I am still active, to those of you who are waiting for chapter ten of Fleur de Lis, it is written and being smoothed out, to be followed, hopefully quicker by chapter eleven, which I am working on diligently while the chapter ten is being batted around for continuity and grammatical faux paux. Patience, it will be worth it, over five thousand words to it so far. Eleven has about three thousand already written. I have not given up. Barb, my beta who graciously stepped in on Mouette's departure, Godspeed my dear Mouette, and best wishes for your bright future. Maybe you will return to say hi someday. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you for your future. Always. Barb is a patient and wonderful beta who I am very blessed to have and want to sing her praises here for her fantastic ability to catch all my stupid mistakes. I am learning so much from her knowledge. Thank you Barb. Thank you all, as well, sincerely, for your support along this journey to bring you my first fan fic. I am currently streamlining and trying to basically I guess, beta it for myself. It means that if I save only once, several words like to run together, so I will probably be separating them, as well. It will hopefully make my first story more readible. Let me know, please, I don't want to ruin the spirit of the story, but my grammar in the beginning was so bad, I apologize.. I wanted to get the story out, that was my main goal at the time. I also did a quick one shot, a what if things had gone not so smoothly for Christine after she married the Vicomte, but not for any other reason than her love for Erik. When she died, Erik wrote her a note telling her of his feelings and summing their love up. Includes another attempt by me to write a poem. Please read and review, let me know if I have any hope, if I don't let me know that too. I really want to know. Thanks. Well, as you have deduced, my muse would not let me totally concentrate on my original fiction work, though I have gotten the basics down, now I have to try to develop some original characters out of my head and that is interesting to do. I sure would appreciate it if I could get some updated feedback on what you all think of my writing, is it boring or does it have some allure for you? Please read and review, I am getting unsure of myself in a way that no doubt writing an original fiction book can do in a heartbeat. For those of you faithfully and patiently reading my stories, I am so grateful to you and any time you have something to say about something that I wrote, please feel free to either leave a review or use my email address accessible from here, and email me. I would be so grateful to you. Let me know if I have changed something for the better in my most recient writings, I have been trying to fix some of the things I was instructed to try to change and would love to know if I am succeeding. Well, I guess, I will stop there, except to Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your patience and your reviews, keep them coming, they help me to become more sure of myself and allow me the opportunity to explore the many possibilities that my characters present me when my confidence level is up. To know that people are actively reading and waiting, well that helps me to no end. Again, I wish to extend a very heartfelt thank you to you for your reviews. And though it is last here, I wish to thank four people who jump to mind immediately when I think about writing, they are, my daughter, Amanda, who quietly reads all the blather I put on paper, and she has read my original fiction, too... Nicki who requested a copy of my chapter 5 I think it was of Even a Mask... when the fanfic site was going to do some revamping this past summer. She has been reading my words, painfully so at times, no doubt, ever since. Mouette, who was my faithful Beta until school began this fall, she has helped beta 7 chapters of Fleur de lis, and we miss her so much but, as I stated in the opening of this, we understand and wish her well... As well, my thanks go out to one more past beta Mominator. I thank her whole heartedly for the input and I hope I can do her justice. Thank you again for taking the time to beta for me. It meant the world to me. Thank you thank you God bless you and thank you thank you... TTFN, Mary. Oh, and my link to my web site is operational. Check it out. |
