Author has written 7 stories for Doctor Who, and Stargate: SG-1.

Name: Helen: as boring as anything ((rolls eyes))

Meaning of Pen Name: It's a mixture of things. I'm visually impaired ((Yes, I know, ironic!)) and have to wear a patch over one eye, hence Captain... and I used to study French. The French version of my name, of course, is pronounced as if you said the letters LN... and it stuck! Woo!

Age: 20

Gender: Totally female!

Location: Jolly old England

Other Fiction Work: Can be found here under the same pseudonym: http://www.fictionpress.com/u/483432/

Random Comment: Most of the human race are idiots, and deserve to die a most painful death through FIRE!

Zodiac ((Chinese)): Dragon, the lucky sign, apparently...

Zodiac: Aries. I also have Sagittarius rising, as well as a Capricorn moon... more fire energies than anything else!

Religion: Generally speaking, I don't believe in organised religion, but I have a few different beliefs about different things, including reincarnation, spirit guides, Reiki... but it doesn't affect how I write. Religion has nothing to do with anything on this place, not really, and I don't care whether you think I'm going straight to hell, yadda yadda yadda. I'm not shoving my beliefs down your throat, so don't do it to me. Personally speaking, if you worship God, Allah or even a slab of cheese, I couldn't care less. As long as you don't hurt other people, it's all good, isn't it?

Likes: Ooh, time for a list? Philosophy, writing, debating, Doctor Who, Egyptian mythology, Stargate SG-1, being utterly random and scary, online roleplaying ((the play by post type)) laughing, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Jekyll ((that awesome mini series recently on the BBC)), having to sit and think deeply about things, setting fire to charves ((it's not 'chav' guys... it originated up in the north: why did you drop the 'r'?)), going out to have a few, laughing at myself ((may as well get in there before someone else does!)), Rome ((again, a BBC drama... but they're only doing 2 series!!)) , The Tenth Kingdom ((I hate that so few people know of it!))

Dislikes: Charves, people who are 'ists' ((You know, racists, sexists, general idiots like that)), having to pretend to like people when at work, having to spend time with people I hate, those that can't handle my disability, people that laugh at those with mental disabilities ((I WILL hunt you all down and kill you)), people that force their religious views on others, spiders ((ugh, extreme arachnophobia right here!)), most anime, exams, people that need to swear every five seconds ((hell, I swear, but you don't need to all of the time! Honestly...)), sport, being told to be more 'active', people that think you need both parents to get on in life, people that think university is a waste of time, bad spelling and grammar ((if it's deliberate. Everyone makes mistakes... but I'm a grammar Nazi! XD ))

Favourite Sayings/Quotes:

"He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful." - Tim Latimer describing the Tenth Doctor during 'Family of Blood'

"You can spend the rest of your life with me...but I can't spend the rest of mine with you. I have to live on. Alone. That's the curse of the Time Lords." - The Tenth Doctor speaking to Rose during 'School Reunion'

"I am the Master of my destiny, I am the Captain of my soul," - William Ernest Henley

My Rules

Rule One: I'm going to write about whatever pairings I like, no matter what anyone else thinks of them. Don't insult me because you don't happen to approve, everyone has their own personal taste about these things, and complaining about it is immature. I'm not making you sit and read my stories, am I? If you don't like them, don't read them. Honestly!

Rule Two: Every so often, I may decide to write some slash material. Oh, shock horror! It will be written in the description, though, so you know to avoid it if that isn't your bag. Don't harrass me if you don't like it... just don't read it. There'll be a warning there, so there's no excuse to complain at me... once again, don't bother me if you don't like that sort of thing. I write this for my own enjoyment too, so there!

Rule Three: I love reviews and constructive criticism. If you like something, tell me why you like it, so I know to keep doing that. If you don't like it though, tell me why. How can I improve if you say 'ZOMG it sux so bad LOLOL,’ without describing how you personally feel it could be better?

Rule Four: If you flame and insult, I’m not going to listen to you. I don’t care if you want me to take something down, either, because I won’t unless I want to. I also don’t care if you don’t like the fact that I’m not Christian, or Muslim, or Pastafarian! It’s stupid flaming for those reasons, and how idiotic is someone that gets their kicks by trying to torment someone online? Puh-leeze.

Rule Five: Reviewing with constructive criticism is fine… but whinging that you don’t like my writing style is just hard cheese for you. Everyone has their own individual style, something that puts their own claim on their work, and it’s more than presumptuous to complain about it. If you think I haven’t quite caught a character’s voice, tell me, give an example and then tell me how you would change it. If you just say ‘i don’t like ur style LOLOL’ it means nothing. I love Stephen King’s stories, but I personally don’t like his writing style… it doesn’t mean I tell people that I think he just ‘sux’. Think about it.

Rule Six: I will always reply to any questions people send to me via the message system here eventually, unless you’re just flaming. However, I have a real life too, so it can sometimes take a little while… don’t get annoyed if I physically can’t get on to message back straight away!

Rule Seven: If you have any suggestions for stories you would like to see me write, I would be more than happy to talk to you about them, if you message me. The same goes for any ideas you may have about the stories that I’m working on… anyone that sends me any ideas will be credited in the stories/poetry themselves and on this page, because I’m honest. What’s the point of stealing anyone else’s ideas when it’s fan fiction? Just bear in mind that I have ideas of my own, too, so don’t randomly claim that you’ve given me ideas. How stupid would that be?

Rule Eight: I swear I’ll finish everything eventually! It may take me a while, but I’ll update my stories and things. I just have a real life, too… reviews and messages make me write faster, though… and I’ll love you all forever if you do…
