Author has written 8 stories for Lord of the Rings, Horatio Hornblower, Crucible, and Dead Poets Society. I'm redoing my profile page to amuse myself . . .I felt it wasn't very good . . . There isn't really much to say. I'm an orthodox Tolkienist, and read quite a bit of historical fiction. I love reading, writiing, and languages in general. I'm on the school debate team, and spend more time working on that than I really should. It cuts into the time I can spend writing, which makes me an irregular update-r, so I try not to write fics that are more than one chapter. I sometimes review as "Larien". I hate slash. It destroys the author's original intentions for the characters, and is altogether degrading. There's also a bit of shameless advertising I should probably do -- so, check out novicewriters.net ...It was started just recently, it's actually quite nice. There's room to post fanfiction and original fiction, which you should totally find cool. Otherwise . . . you wouldn't have the time, or the interest to be reading things like my profile. 3.30.06 4.15.06 Quotes - "The spider is mine!" -- Fflewddur Fflam "Good is dumb." -- Dark Helmet. "Gentlemen, when the enemy is committed to a mistake we must not interrupt him too soon." -- Horatio Nelson "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." -- Albert Einstein "Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever." -- Napoleon Bonaparte "It is of interest to note that while some dolphins are reported to have learned English -- up to fifty words used in correct context -- no human being has been reported to have learned dolphinese." -- Carl Sagan"Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you." -- Carl Gustav Jung "Who the hell is Squanto?" "Try to be more smart." "This music sounds like one of those Disney soundtracks . . . you know, the ones that have all of the little green gnomes tinkering away at these toys, and then there's this non-conformist gnome in a red hat that throws down his hammer and breaks into song, and they ostracize him . . . .no?" “Our nada who art in nada, nada by thy name thy kingdom nada thy will be nada in nada as it is in nada. Give us this nada our daily nada and nada us our nada as we nada our nadas and nada us not into nada but deliver us from nada; pues nada. Hail nothing, full of niothing, nothing is with thee.” – Ernest Hemingway, “A Clean, Well-Lighted Place "We've lost our dreams. Then they come back and we don't know what they mean." -- David Burton, The Last Wave "This is America, ladies.
