I'm pretty new to writing fanfiction, but I'm hoping to give it my best shot. I mainly work in the Harry Potter fandom, though I'll probably diverge into the Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Hawaii 5-oh, or Blue Bloods universes at some point if I've got the time since those are the series that I think I know pretty darn well.

So a little about me, I'm a college student, work a full time job, and hope to be going to graduate school in the near future so my updates are going to be sporadic at best, and far and few in between at worst. I'm from the USA, as will be relatively obvious when you get a good look at my writing style and vocabulary, though I try to write in the same vocabulary style as the characters, so you'll probably see a mix of 'mom' and 'mum' in my work.

I try not to indicate pairings or too many story elements in my descriptions, since I feel like the ruin the surprise of it unless I'm working on a one shot or a marriage contract sort of a fanfic. Though when it comes to pairings I like to use the off-brand characters/pairings more than not, since I like the amount of freedom they give me to work with their personalities and interactions, so expect to see people you wouldn't normally see. If anyone wants to make a request for a pairing, I'll consider it as long as it isn't too far away from the story and characters of it (A straight character in the story won't be written as gay just because of a request).

I'm open to any valid criticisms while I'm still finding my feet, despite having a lot of college level writing experience, I don't have much in the way of creative writing practice, since creativity is frowned upon in the US school system after junior high (about Year 7 or 8 for those of you in the UK), so any ideas or input that could help me along would be more than welcome. I reserve my right to change or manipulate any universe I choose to write in, if I want the characters of Harry Potter to have smartphones then they will, despite the fact that the base story takes place in the 1990's. I'll try to explain it as best I can, but if I feel its necessary for the story it will happen.
