![]() Author has written 4 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, and Sherlock Holmes. Hello, profile reader! I'm warning you, I'm not very good at these things, so hopefully I can make it interesting! I'm a nursing student, so that gives me little time for creative writing. But when I do, it's refreshment to my poor frazzled brain. I enjoy creativity to the utmost, but there is just no creative way to describe the contents of a bowel movement. Or...maybe there is, but my clinical instructor would fail me if I tried. Well, I have written three Rurouni Kenshin stories thus far. My very first attempt at fanfiction was "Forgotten Blood", which I started two years ago after having a sort of "vision" of Misao baking cookies. I didn't know fanfiction-writing was allowed, let alone encouraged, so I wrote tenatively, wondering if I was going to totally botch the whole thing up and loathe myself for it. It has come out nicely, though, for a first shot. "A Day With Ayame and Suzume" started on a day I was babysitting at a friend's house. Inspired by the thoughts of Kenshin having to babysit, I sat down at my laptop during naptime and just started writing. "Days of Shadow" is my favorite so far. I would recommend reading that one. (sheepish cough) I am now starting in the Holmes world, and let me say, it's my favorite. Definitely going to keep on in this vein for while! I enjoy writing novels in my spare time, drinking coffee, collecting interesting scraps of paper, talking in accents, and writing haphazard poetry. |
