I used to be hermione8meg, but changed my name, as I got quite a few sniggers with that one. Hey, I made up that name last summer as about 4am, so leave me alone, alright. I quite like my new name. Hahahaaa...bet ya don't know what it means.

My name is Megan. I'm heading off to college in the fall! I know, so hard to believe, but Allegheny will be great.

Fave books/authors: Harry Potter (duh), LOTR, Mansfield Park, Vanity Fair, Anthem, Tryst, Green Mansions, the Dune Series, Hitchhiker's Guide Series, I Capture the Castle, both Bridget Jones' books, and anything else I can get my hands on.

Fave movies: HP (duh again)(both), LOTR (both), Mallrats, anything Monty Python, A Knight's Tale, Amélie (my absolute absolute favorite), Moulin Rouge, The Last Unicorn/Legend/The Labyrinth (all those kind of movies), Chicago, Life As a House, Empire Records, Bridget Jones's Diary, Leaving Normal, and anything with Audrey Hepburn, plus millions of others I'm missing because I'm obsessed with movies.

Fave music: I love all music. No, really, I do! I love a little bit of everything, though pop and rap are my least favorite. I especially love classic rock like the Eagles, Journey, Lynard Skynard, Eric Clapton, Styx, and Kansas. And also I lovelovelove music like Jump, Little Children (my fave band), Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, Coldplay, and Moby, etc. (you know, all that folksy, mellow music). I also throw in with that category (though some would say different, but hey! they're not me) Nickel Creek, Dido (only her first CD and definitely NOT "Thank you"), Tori Amos, Charlotte Church, and Allison Krauss. I basically made up my own category called "Megan's comfort music."

Other likes: reading/writing, anything art-related, history, hiking/camping, and a plethera of other stuff.

If you really want to know the root of all goodness and love in my heart: Sean Biggerstaff, Heath Ledger, James McAvoy, and lots of other cute, slightly dorky boys with accents.
