![]() Author has written 1 story for Pokémon. Hello, visitors, and welcome to my (not) beautiful profile! Here you can find useful information about my writing and my stories, as well as recent updates and plans for the future. Don't hesitate to take a good look. Last Modified on: 03 December 2008. If you are, by any chance, interested in knowing about me, I will tell you a few details. I'm a guy. I am older than 13, but younger than 15 (months count, of course) I currently live in Rome, Italy. I speak English, Portugese and French (and a bit of Italian). I enjoy writing, as long as it's not for school (or more specifically, for classes) I'm a freshman at my High School. I'm also a very new member to FanFiction, so I still don't know a thing about the different utilities this site has to offer. I've been reading a bunch of stories lately, but I've never really thought about registering before. But now, I plan to write a few stories. And I already have the first planned out... oh, and please tell me if anything I post here is against the rules, I'm not used to them yet. Writing Preferences Well, I like to write long, drama/adventure-packed stories with some humour to lighten the mood (you could call them epic stories, I think). Even the idea of writing a One-Shot disturbs me. I just can't put anything decent in few words. When writting Pokémon stories, which is all I've done so far, I like to use either Hoenshipping or Advanceshipping. May's the best of all the Pokémon girls (and Tracey's the best dude, but that's not the point). Plus, she has an annoying little brother like me (okay, we're actually twins, but still! I was born a minute earlier!). I'm not very good at differentiating character personalities (I pretty much make everyone the same), so I try to keep the character count as low as possible, as long as it doesn't 'damage' the story. Other than that, character feelings may also be weird (but completely differentiated, I assure you! Well, most of the time, at the very least!). And I have so much free time and so little to do that I update often (five chapter in a week! I still can't get over that one!) and spend a uselessly long amount of time typing on this profile, seeing as I only have one story. Stories: So far, my only story is Less than Legends, More than Myths. It is a Pokémon story, and if you want to know more, about it check the resumé. I've been thinking about writing a story for the Inheritance Cycle (Eragon) lately, based on a character of my own creation. But it's just a vague idea, and I don't know where to place it exactly (chronologically speaking). I've also been meaning to write a Pokémon first-person story, which should be named either Stories of a Lifetime or Tales of the Travelling Trainers. The main characters' name will be Theodore, the 'me' in the story (for most of the time) and the top character. I'm planning to write a story following the Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia storyline. I might write it in first-person, but I'm not sure yet. It will be called 'Truly a Ranger's Tale', but I still need to invest a good deal of thought into it, and I don't wanna start it before finishing LtL, MtM (and that could and most likely will take long). If I can, I'd like to have the first chapter up by Christmas 2009 (over an year from the date I'm posting this), but no promises. I may also write a story following Jimmy's journey through Johto, including but not restricted to his encounter with Raikou on Pokémon Special: The Legend of Thunder. Notice I most definately won't write allof these stories (not on this century), but instead I might choose a couple I feel good about and 'publish' them. So, for the time being, enjoy LtL, MtM! Less Than Legends, More Than Myths The title is pretty much random. I just thought it sounded cool, so it was decided to use it as the title for the story. The story is about a (almost) typical Emerald-based story. The only differences are that the main characters count up to four (three innitially), and two of them are OC's. There will also be 2 'semi-main characters', OC's, meaning that they will play several important roles in the story, but do not count as main characters. There are also a small difference with the original criminal Teams, as well as some original scenes. The 'graphics' (atacks, defenses, travels...) are based on a mix of the game, the anime and my own ideas, so I guarantee you it gets pretty confusing. It's unavoidable for my sucky writing skills, and I apologize for it. If the story (nicknamed LtL, MtM for here on) actually gets a review, I might just post some information on the characters here. And maybe even have a few polls. Who knows? Notes: Wohoo! I'm the best (and the modest-est)! 20,000 words (five chapters) in one week! Take that, society! From Thursday 23 October to Saturday 25 October, I will be on Fall Trips with school (Mount Sibilini, here I come!). As a result, I will not be able to write at all on those days. I'll try to get the sixth chapter up before I leave, though. Okay guys, I'm back. Sorry for the delay in the story, I had writer's block and couldn't finish it before Thursday. But now I'm back, and the new chapter is up and running, so enjoy! Yes! I have an official regular reviewer (Okay, he only reviewed thrice, but still! You rock, Quota)! I hope more will come along, because reviews have a tendency to inspire you like hell. Halloween day! October 31st 2008! Today, I will (out of sheer happiness) put two chapters at once! One of them is a normal chapter that continues the storyline like every other chapter. The second is my very own Halloween special. It isn't a 100 percent necessary reading, but it has much deeper meaning behind it. And I doubt anyone can figure it out! Only a week left 'till the LtL, MtM 1st Month Celebration! There will be a double-update to celebrate the occasion, so watch out, and don't forget to R&R! Scratch that last line. Sorry, but the double-update thing didn't work out so well... ahem. Yes! Breached the 50'000 word mark in one month (fine, one month and one day! Happy?)! They outta be giving awards for these sorta things... Wo-hoo! Chapter 12 is the uncontested champion on Hits. 50 hits (that's the highest I've ever got for a single day) in one day. Yes! And now, LtL, MtM has officially passed the 300 Hit mark! Thank you all so much. Next step: 500 Hits! I won't be able to write much from November 22 to November 29, cause I have to go to Naples on one weekend and then to Paris on the other (poor me), but I'll try to have at least one chapter done in those days. Ah, finally back home. The trip was nice, but I ended up not going to Paris after all (I'm actually happy about it, which makes sense, as it was my choice). So, back to writing! Broke the 500 Hits mark! I'm so happy. Thank you all so much! Next step: 1000 Hits! Stats: 526 Hits, 196 Visitors. 6 Reviews and 2 Favorites. 59'344 Words, 14 Chapters. Current Pool: None. Recent Updates: Less than Legends, More than Myths: New update! Chapter 12: Sea, Seed and Seedot. Posted on: 13 November 2008. New update! Chapter 13: A Sea of Shimmering Shivers. Poster on: 18 November 2008. New update! Chapter 14: Arrivals, Friends, and Enemies. Posted on: 28 November 2008. Recomendations: Here are few stories that I've read and must say are extremely good. Whether for adventure, romance or just plain nonsence humor, these are definitely worth reading. I strongly advise anyone to check them out. ReiShine, by Digital Skitty Sara's Quest, by Flamewind May's Crush (and sequel), by PikamasterADV Hoenn League: A Brendan and May Adventure, by Br33zy The World Pokémon Championships, by AronDelBen Pokémon Legends: Kanto Saga, by devilrose87 These marvelous writers have put an immense amount of effort into these stories (and some are still putting), and the outcome is totally worth it. When the story ends (or you have to wait for the next chapter), all you want to do is find a sequel and keep on reading forever (or kill someone out of frustration). I'm serious. I know I did. Anyway, thanks to all of them for their breath-taking stories! | |||||||
