Book Reviews

Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine

Glass House: I picked up this book at a second hand store trying it for new reading marital. I started reading and it at first I was shocked by Claire, thinking this is going to be enough series of super skinny girls and perfect make up however reading it, I realized it was nothing at all like that and fell in love with her very fast. The plot was brilliant and it kept me wanting to turn page after page. When I meet the glass house 'family.' Eve the goth girl, when is that kinda thing ever in story's??? I wish it was in more, I loved the whole get up of this character were she comes across very isolated however he personalty was quite the opposite as she was a real happy person and then you meet Shane, Eve and Shane, wow remind me of brother and sister with all the fliping off. When you meet Micheal, you would of never of guessed his secret. I remember getting to the end of this book and waiting to chucking it across the bus as of the cliff hanger, if I was not on a bus full of people, I would of most likely cried. Brilliant Book, I suggest reading it, it is a different take to vampires from Twilight and The House of Night series. Just make sure you have the second book, The dead girls dance.

The Dead Girls Dance: This book was easy to get into with the whole cliff hanger from the first book. You feel like you are there and the emotion of the characters goes on you. You meet Shane's Dad more in this book and you find out more on the whole gangs history. You also find out more about the big bad vamps in town. Though you are once again left with an amazing cliff hanger by Rachel Caine, Life or Death.

Midnight Alley: Once again a very easy book to get into with dramas, never a boring moment in this book. Claire and Shane are more of a couple now and you get to experiences things together. At this point, I really felt for the characters and new. You meet more vampires, which you can not help but falling in love with a mad scientist Myrnin. The book goes through its adventures and you are scream at your self to finish the page to read more. Again you are left with a cliff hanger by possible the most dangerous vampire.

Feast of Fools, Lord of Misrule, Carpe Corpus: Once again Rachel Caine blow me away with these three books, You are held on suspense after suspense. I felt so close to the characters it made me cry when things did not go there way. You feel like you are in the books, fighting for your life. Once the book is put down your mind can not help but wounder how this will plan out until you pick the book back up. You are glued to it. Your follow the characters through emotions the whole way through the books.

Fade out: For me this was the book that I have liked the least so far in the series, there was all the suspense you needed however unlike the other books I did not find my self as glued to this one. I like though how the relationships get more advance in this book and by the end you don't have as much of a cliff hanger but you get a nice feeling inside as you can feel safe for a little while for the glass house gang.

Kiss of death: Compered to the last book, this is a lot better and you can get glued much more easy however I still did not find myself as into the book as the first 6 books. However you get to experience life outside of Morganville for the glass house gang, you can not help but find that feeling in the bottom of your belly that they are ok; but this is Morganville so that feeling does not stay round for long.

Ghost Town: This one was interesting and it got me right back in to the whole series again. This is the one I cried at because of the difficulty's Claire faces and the reality Shane faces which we get to see, not just in the past. This book you are holding your breath for everything to be alright, you are 100% hoping that your favorite characters are going to be okay. More romance in this book between Claire and Shane. Rachel Caine did it again!

Bite Club: This book was Okay, not the best Rachel Caine has done in the series however the view points from Shane is amazing and you get to know how much his feeling of hate-rid for vampires are. You can not help your self glued to the books though as the plot always makes you want to know more.

Last Breath: This book was amazing, you can NOT put it down. You have to take it every were bath, toilet, out etc. The great thing is you experience things from a lot of the characters view points, you can not help but get attached!!! The ending was for me was full of sadness because of the loss of one of my favorite characters plus joy for two others. When this book ends you can not wait to get the other one. Once again Rachel Caine is amazing.

Black Dawn: One word, AMAZING! This has got to be one of my favourt book of the serise s far. From begging to end you are hocked and can not stop reading. You see once again many diffrent veiw points of the characters again and I love all the characters and many have dark secrets. I cried for the loss of characters and the fight for servial. When you think nothing in Morganville could get worse for the humans, you have thought wrong because by the end of the book you find out that there may be some new rules in Morganville in the up coming noval Bitter Blood. AMAZING.

Bitter Blood: Out in November 2012

Reviews from Morganville Fanfictions:

The Hunger Games Series By Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games: This is the first book of the series and you can not put it down you get attached to the characters fast because of there hardships the have to face. Katniss Everdean one of the main characters is who you follow the story through. You feel her emotions all the way through and her fear when she is in the Hunger games. All you do is hope for her to return safe and you are turning the pages fast then you finish just make sure. Suzanne Collins is an amazing anther who you can not help but wounder how she come up with such brilliant plots.

Catching Fire: You find how far some of the characters go for one enough in this book and you can not help but want them to be safe and feel for all the other districts. Its amazing and once again you can not help but lose your self in this bloody world. You are left with a cliff hanger, what hurts because all you want to know if is Peta can be safe. Bring on Team Peta or Gale.

MockingJay: This is the last book of this series and Suzanne Collins finish it perfectly. You have so much that goes on and your heart aches for Peta to return safe and when he is, he has a secret which could KILL Katniss. All the way through you could cry but at the end is were it comes when you say goodbye to a lovely Character just like Rues death you can not help but cry. Suzanne Collins an amazing author.

Reviews from The Hunger Games Fanfictions:

Angel series by L.A Weatherly

Angel: A lovely book what has a good plot and you fall in love with the characters. An fantastic twist on angels, which gets you to thing are they really all good??? Where it changes from place to place its hard to carry on but you get through that and its an amazing story.

Angel Fire: Reading

Ten thing we shouldn't of Done by Sarah Mlyrowski

Ten thing we shouldn't of done: A funny read, when you need a pick me up. More of teen book. You can get into this really easy and you have quite a few laughs reading it. Its got a good plot and with some real issues like divorce but overall a real laugh.

Beautiful by Amy Read

Beautiful: Real book about real issues very sexual and a lot about drugs and family issues. This book was well put together and I think is for older teens due to the content of the book. You have laughs in there but you also have sad moments which make you cry. Amy Read an amazing author about real life issues.
