Health crisis is under control, more or less. I will try to update more frequently: still trying to find the muse. And there's a couple of particularly knotty problems that I have to work out before I can continue.

My name is Barb and I am originally from Michigan, but now live in a small but growing town in Tennessee. I have been married for 13 years. We have no children, but belong to a very independent cat named Miss Kitty we rescued from a shelter and she is our 'kid.' I guess I have been writing fan fiction since I was in Jr. High: just didn't realize it was called that. I wrote many stories based on the Westerns I loved at the time: The Virginian, Laredo, Alias Smith and Jones. I would read them to my friends at lunch complete with voices. I watched Starsky and Hutch in college when it first came on (showing my age!) and wrote a couple of stories which I have, alas, lost along the way in the many moves I've made in my life since then. As for RS, my husband is a huge James Bond fan so when Brosnan became Bond, I became 'reacquainted' with him and then started watching Remington Steele on PAX. I have written original stuff and even had one story self published (easy to do since I work in a publishing house.) My husband bought me a notebook computer last Christmas so now I can write anywhere. Besides writing, I love reading, waching movies and traveling. We have been to London and Ireland several times, besides traveling here in the US. I am Irish on both sides so a little bit of the green will show up in my stories--just can't help it!
