Her hair wasn't like feathers. One-shot.

Max comforts Liesel one night, with words. Another fluffy Max/Liesel songfic, this time inspired by You Can Close Your Eyes by James Taylor and Carole King.

And the one time she pulled him onto hers. How did Liesel Meminger end up in Max Vandenburg's bed? She fell, repeatedly.

It's another day...living...breathing...and trying to forget the past. The past years are still haunting but Liesel has a unexpected confession to Max that will quite possibly change both their lives for the better. It's something entirely new...and that may be just what they need to move on.

She thinks: here is the man who is my whole world.

This is a one-shot summarizing the events that may have happened after Max came to Alex Steiner's store, after the war ended. This is a Liesel/Max story (they only marry when she is 26). This is rated T for mentioned violence. (I had written this for an English Language Arts assignment)

One year after Heaven was destroyed. One year, and Liesel still doesn't want to believe that there is nothing she can do. Only one person can help her come to terms, and she thinks she's lost him, too. (A new take on the ending, focused on the characters, with a very pale AU cast to it.)

"Hope does that. It grows inside you, and there is no pesticide for hope." Max visits 33 Himmel Street and learns the fate of its inhabitants. Slight hint of Lieslel/Max just like I like to believe there is in the book. Very short one-shot.

The fires have been burned and the rubble disposed of, but the tears still remain for Liesel and Alex Steiner. Until one fateful day in October, when love of a different kind comes to visit.
