Though if a story doesn’t follow cannon, I appreciate being informed of such before I get annoyed with it. I read most ships unless Snape gets the girl/guy, Snape is like Metatron in my mind, “lacking definition.” My personal ships all turned out to be cannon in HP6 so I was very happy about that.
