Here is my description of characters from my Re:Zero fanfiction that I have given them.

Diego Valentine: Diego Valentine was born on the streets of San Francisco CA to parents called Santiago and Maria who were killed by dark force that was not of his world. Ever since the night his parents died he has been given a pittance of some of the power of the dark force that would become known as the wicked witch Satella, who had been sealed away from the world after terrorizing the people of Lugnica and beyond. Diego has wavy curly brown hair, brown eyes that symbolize his connection to the earth. For his attire Diego wears a coat that resembles Jared Leto’s Joker coat from Suicide Squad, a dark button up shirt with many vestments, a purple buckle vest, black leather biker pants with a leather belt that has a sapphire in the center, black biker boots, and a necklace that is a replica of the Heart of the Ocean from James Cameron’s adaptation of Titanic. For armaments Diego carries two desert eagles that resemble Ebony and Ivory, which he calls Silver and Shadow, and hides beneath his coat, but when he draws them out he shoots gangsta style at his foes that dare hurt him or his friends. He gets a mighty claymore from a weapons vendor and which is called Nephilim that was forged by angels and demons and used by his late father who was the Legendary Dark Knight. The greatsword has the wing of an angel and the wing of a demon on top of a skull with a ruby in one eye, and a sapphire in the other eye symbolizing that he walks between the light and darkness with a blade that is four inches long, a leather handle on the hilt, and a gemstone that starts to turn purple on the pommel after Elsa stabs him and inadvertently awakens his powers. Diego’s friendships are powerful and he forges brotherly bonds with different people in Lugnica after being trained by a shadowy figure who decided to train him how to be adept in battle. Diego’s personality mirrors that of Dante Sparda from Devil May Cry but rather than be overconfident and arrogant, he sometimes plays his enemies in the hope that he defeats them and wins. Unlike Dante, Diego’s ultimate transformation is called the Nephilim Trigger, which when activated, transforms him into a being with the wing of angel and demon sprouting on his shoulder blades, and an aura that shifts from light to dark depending on his mood. When he is consumed by rage, his Devil Trigger activates surprising his friends, giving his body the appearance of a Demon with a dark aura around his body when he feels rage and hate. His Angel Trigger engulfs him in an aura of light and his clothes become bright white and silver when he is calm and capable of feeling happiness and love. He eventually marries Rem, becoming Ram's new brother-in-law after he gains her trust, and they have two children called Francisco, and Isabella. Diego still continues his adventures, partaking on missions given to him by the elder council, battling the Witches of sin, their armies of demons, and their spies, and fights for justice while coming back to be with his family.

Subaru Natsuki: Subaru was born in Japan in a city that’s not to far off from Tokyo. He enjoys playing video games and is always shutting himself in his room to be alone. Sometimes he goes out to the convenience store to get some snacks and food to make for himself. After being whisked out his world and being placed in Lugunica, Subaru’s adventures begins when he meets a half-elven princess called Emilia. Subaru wears a tracksuit that is black orange and white with black shoes with orange soles and laces. He can perform small feets of magic but when his determination flairs up he will do everything he can to ensure that they are happy and live in peace. Whenever Subaru dies he is reborn on what he perceives to be a save point in a singular location. After meeting Rem, Ram, Beatrice, Emilia, Puck, Roswall, Felix, Crusch, and several other people, he learns that by starting from Zero he can come up with a different strategy. If he attempts to reveal his secret of returning by death, Satella will crush his heart in one fell swoop and kill him prompting him to be careful of what he says in front of others. As Diego’s best friend, Subaru hopes that one day he will become strong enough to embody his iron will and protect Emilia and all of his friends when he finds out that Diego is in fact the son of the Legendary Dark Knight, Santiago. After marrying Emilia, he has a daughter named Abigail.

Emilia: A half-elven princess who resembles Satella the witch of envy (whom Diego calls a bitch.), Emilia is a good natured girl who eventually warms up to Subaru after he goes through several loopholes. Her relationship with Diego is more of a brother/sister relationship but she finds him to brave and loyal for a rebel. A master of magic due to her elven blood, Emilia is quite capable of handling herself in dangerous situations and may often rely on others to help her out of a dangerous situation. She is a royal candidate for the throne of Lugunica and hopes to one day become its first queen after she wins. Emilia dislikes being called the name of the wicked witch of envy, but she accepts that some appearances can be deceiving to other people who are blinded by ancient hatreds when Diego states that people should judge others by their hearts, instead of their appearance.when she learns that Diego is the son of the Legendary Dark Knight, Santiago she continues to root for him in the hopes that Satella and her armies are no more. She eventually marries Subaru and has a daughter named Abigail.

Puck: An artificial spirit whom Emilia formed a contract with that was bound in blood, Puck’s feline appearance makes him look cute and adorable that Diego likes in cats. They first met when Subaru was in great danger of being attacked by thugs who wanted him dead. After saving Subaru’s life and giving him time to heal his wounds, he finds Diego to be an interesting fellow who has no evil in his heart making him trust the cat even more. They trust each other until Puck says his time is up and he fades out of existence back into the crystal on Emilia’s necklace. He is told that Diego is the son of the Legendary Dark Knight, Santiago. Puck also looks after their daughter Abigail after Subaru and Emilia are married and promises to take care of her even when his time is up and needs to sleep.

Rem: born into a clan of demons, Rem’s life was very difficult when living in the shadow of her twin sister Ram. Due to the Demon clan’s laws of considering twins to be forbidden, the leader of the clan decided to let them live. When a group of cold blooded heartless cultists attacked and left Ram in a near death state, Rem slowly began to feel regret at not taking her sister’s hand. When she met with Rosswall Mathers, she asked him if she and Ram could be his trustworthy attendants. Her youth and beauty captivated Diego Valentine who sees her as something he wishes to protect with all of his strength, but she soon begins to slowly return his feelings after Subaru manages to help heal the old wounds in her heart. As a demon, Rem can channel as much mana as she needs into her horn thus making her an extremely powerful warrior. (But to Diego he calls it her Devil Trigger.) Even though Subaru states that his heart belongs to Emilia, Ram slowly begins to understand why Diego loves her sister so dearly that she eventually lets him marry her, and has two beautiful children named Francisco and Isabella.

Ram: Like her sister Rem, Ram was also born into a clan of demons. Because twins were strictly forbidden the clan leader decided to let them live when he witnessed Ram’s powers. Although Rem kept her horn, her sister unfortunately lost it to a band of cultists who attacked her home and killed her family. Now she is still alive and is promising to do whatever work necessary as Roswaal’s attendant. When she first met Diego she thought that he was a bit of a brutish young man, but has slowly begun to learn that he is loyal to the core despite being a rogue swordsman. Ram often refers to Diego as Goedi just as she refers to Subaru as Barusu. as the years pass, Diego becomes her brother-in-law, and a proud aunt to their children Francisco and Isabella.

Roswaal L Mathers: Enigmatic head of his own manor, and direct descendent of Roswaal who Diego decides to live as a guest of his house rather than be a butler. What Diego doesn’t know is that his ancestor always possesses descendants and change his middle initial when he is reborn in a new body. But worst of all Diego, along with Emilia, Rem, Ram, and Subaru are unaware of his ambition to restore his previous instructor Echidna to life. Overtime however as with every loop Subaru goes through he senses that Diego loops back to the time he came from via Satella’s ability to take Diego back in time after Subaru dies when she stops time. He is already aware that Santiago, the Legendary Dark Knight has a son who will succeed him.

Beatrice: When Diego first met Beatrice the Librarian their relationship started off on a sour note. Overtime however Beatrice slowly begins to trust Diego’s actions when he knocks on a door that leads into her library making her see that Diego is well mannered, for a rogue. Beatrice teaches Diego how to master his sword’s abilities in the hopes that he can defeat anyone who dares threaten those that he considers his true family. Though sometimes nicknamed Betty she likes Puck more because of his feline appearance. She is also aware of the fact that she has the book of legends in her library, which contains the history of his late father, the Legendary Dark Knight, Santiago.

Felt: Diego first met Felt when she was trying to flee with Emilia’s insignia in the hopes of selling it to the highest bidder. After several meetings with Felt with different results, she began to slowly trust Diego and Subaru after defeating the Assassin Elsa Granhiert and even went so far as to return Emilia’s insignia to them, only to discover that she is a candidate for the Imperial throne of Lugunica. Diego’s relationship with Felt started being a little rough, but it has eventually softened to be more like brother and sister as both have lost something irreplaceable which has brought them closer together. Even though she is forced to dress like a princess, Felt still feels the need to take what she can and give nothing back. She later learns that Diego is the son of Santiago, the Legendary Dark Knight. She eventually marries Reinhardt and they have two children.

Elsa Granhiert: Despite her appearance and seductive nature, Diego views Elsa as something of a babe to his eyes much to the surprise and disgust of Felt. With dual blades she can cut her foes down and leave them to bleed from the stomach until they perish from extreme blood loss. Diego is often the first person Elsa occasionally flirts with, leading to a hint of surprise from his friends. Diego knows that one day he’ll see Elsa again so that he can take her down and bring her to justice. When Elsa overhears that Diego is the successor of his father Santiago, the Legendary Dark Knight, She joins the witches cult and hopes to one day defeat him with an army of demons on her side.

Felix Argyle: Though this Knight might sound like a girl, he is actually a man who serves as Crusch Karsten’s loyal ally through and through. Diego often views Felix as a brother in arms and treats him like one. Together they stand vigil against those who would dare bring death and destruction to Lugunica and its citizens. Felix and Diego’s brotherly bond impresses Crusch immensely that she might ask him to deal with any mundane threats that could cause catastrophic problems for the people everywhere after learning that he is the Legendary Dark Knight Santiago’s son. He eventually marries Crusch and the two of them have children.

Crusch Karsten: Head of house Karsten, Duchess and future Queen of Lugnica, Crusch hopes that her success as the new queen will make the people of Lugnica happy that any threats will be dealt with by her soldiers. She sometimes sees Diego as something of a mercenary who will do any job in order to get his money’s worth and start a new life in Lugunica. She is mostly pleased to learn that Diego is a capable fighter and even views Felix as a brother. When she learns that Diego is the next Legendary Dark Knight succeeding his father Santiago she welcomes his help in fighting for justice. She eventually marries Felix, and two of them have children.

Priscilla Barielle: Head of the house of Barielle of the Empire of Vollachia, Priscilla believes that the world revolves around her day in and day out as every incident brings her good fortune. Ruthless, cold blooded, and heartless, she views every man, woman, and child as nothing but lowly scum, making Diego see that she has a demon in her blood making him say that Kings and Queens become demons when they rule with fear. Diego hates Priscilla with a vengeance and will not hesitate to teach her a harsh lesson about life and why it can be cruel to others around her. Though cold-hearted she still learns to appreciate people, and accept that the world is about them and not her.

Anastasia Hoshin: Orphaned at a young age when her parents passed away, Anastasia one day hopes to become queen in the hopes that those who are beneficial to her will be welcomed into the imperial city Lugunica. Diego sees a part of himself in Anastasia as they have both lost their parents at a young age and struck out on their own in life. Diego doesn’t know that Echidna has taken control of her body preventing her soul from leaving. She marries Julius and the two of them have children later on. She eventually treats Diego as an older brother, accepts him as the next Legendary Dark Knight, marries Julius, and has children.

Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti: Leader of the Witches Cult, Petelgeuse is the embodiment of death who desires power over everything else. Diego considers him to be mad as a hatter (Which Subaru and his compatriots can agree upon.) After causing Subaru so much pain and anguish Diego and Rem warn Subaru that giving up on others including himself means Petelgeuse is the winner. Eventually Subaru and Diego defeat him and ensure that those who are loyal to the wicked witches are defeated once and for all.

Satella: As the wicked witch of envy, Satella has the power to stop time and reverse it giving Subaru and Diego another chance at life. However, she is more nicer to Diego by letting him keep the sword he obtained at a weapons merchant stand (Yes it may wreck the continuity abit but, Fanfiction Logic.) Though her name is considered forbidden, Diego often refers to Satella as a bitch (something that Emilia finds rather humorous acceptable about Diego’s name choice for witches.) which a lot of people in Lugunica can agree. Because of Emilia’s resemblance to the sorceress, Diego sometimes warns those around her to never judge people by appearance but by their hearts (Which of course fills Emilia with admiration for Diego’s unyielding will that is strong as Adamantium.) Satella may not reveal her face to Diego and Subaru, but she knows that one day she will do so when the time comes.

Reinhard Van Astrea: The grandson of the esteemed swordsman Wilhelm Van Astrea, Reinhard serves as a knight of the Realm of Lugunica. After meeting with Diego and Subaru they devised a plan to save Emilia, Felt, and Rom from Elsa’s blades. Diego views Reinhard as a friend after saving Felt, Rom, and Emilia from certain death and hopes that one day they will see each other again. They eventually do during the royal election, and when they confront the White Whale and defeat it. He marries Felt later on, and they have three children.

Julius Juukulius: Loyal knight of Anastasia, Julius and Diego sometimes act as rivals due to their differentiating opinions. Subaru sometimes ends up being treated as dirt by Julius which makes Diego rather annoyed by Julius belittling people for their impulsive behaviour as a weakness. Julius lost his father Klein leading him to be raised by his uncle Alviero making his noble status rise above all others. When working together with Diego and Subaru he ensures that they will help those around him. He eventually accepts Diego as a brother, marries Anastasia, and the two of them have children.

Rom: Even though he’s a shopkeeper from the slums, Rom still treats Felt as if she were his granddaughter. When Diego first met him he was surprised to see that Rom was more of a gentle Juggernaut which makes Felt happy that Diego treats the elderly with respect. After fending off Elsa’s attack, Felt and Rom begin to treat Diego as family even though he is a rebellious swordsman. After learning that Diego is Santiago’s son, he eventually accepts him as the next Legendary Dark Knight. Rom is often called old timer, or Gramps by Diego which Felt finds a bit amusing, but later adopts from Diego's style of using nicknames.

Here is my description for Diego's apparel:

Crocodile Skin Overcoat: Diego’s coat may bear a striking resemblance to Jared Leto’s coat from Suicide Squad, but he wears it as a symbol of his status as a rogue. Made up of crocodile leather, and colored purple, Diego makes sure that his coat is considerably taken care of symbolising that he will always be rogue who will help out as long as he gets fresh payment from his clients.

Shirt: Diego’s Shirt is always buttoned up save for the collar button that he keeps undone so that he can breathe easily. He wears this as a testament of his renegade status making have an edge against people that would dare harm those who are considered his friends and family.

Heart of the Ocean: Normally Diego likes different necklaces that he considers a part of his life. The one necklace he likes is the one Rose Dawson (Dewitt Bukater) wore in the film Titanic. The heart shaped Sapphire symbolizes Diego's undying love for Rem who finds the necklace to be the most beautiful item she has ever seen. Diego gives this to her promising that he will see her again.

Buckle Vest: Diego wears a vest that he buckles up with his own two hands making him stand out a bit in the crowd. He sometimes likes to unhook his vest buckles when he goes into a confrontation with his enemies.

Belt: Diego’s belt is covered in metallic studs with a silver finish all around it. The light often reflects off the belt studs giving him the opportunity to temporarily confuse his enemies and blind them granting him the opportunity to take them down and leave with a satisfied smirk on his face.

Gloves: Diego’s gloves are fingerless and black which enable him to shoot his guns more easily, He still wears them so that he can gently touch people with his fingers exposed to the wind so they can breathe.

Pants: Diego’s pants are meant for bikers but he likes to wear them with multi cargo pockets that he keeps on his person at all times in order to hide in his many pockets.

Boots: Diego’s boots may resemble that of Jon Snow’s from Game of Thrones, but he wears them as a credit to his status as a renegade. By traversing the city streets when he’s out and about and removing them whenever he goes to bed.

Here is my description of weapons that Diego uses:

Nephilim: Diego’s trusty claymore that he keeps on his person at all times. He found this blade at a weapons stall in Lugunica and thus attached it to his back giving him a badass look. With this blade he can cut down his foes and any monster that comes towards him, the Sword had not yet fully awakened yet until Diego was stabbed by it during a scuffle with Elsa who attempted to exterminate him, Emilia, Subaru, Felt, Rom, and Puck. After he was stabbed by this sword it awakened some new powers inside of him granting him the powers of a nephilim. After Reinhardt discovered that the blade belonged to his father Santiago Valentine, he revealed that it was the same sword used by the Legendary Dark Knight of Lugunica who fought the witches of sin and their army of demons who attempted to kill everybody in the world.

Silver and Shadow: Diego’s hand cannons which are colored white and black with a design similar to m1911 Desert Eagles. Though a rarity in Lugunica they have served Diego time and time again with a near limitless supply of ammunition. As Diego is a rogue he continues to traverse the land hunting down those who are still devoted to the wicked witches of sin. With his new found abilities from Nephilim, Diego can transform them into shotguns, assault rifles, smgs, grenade launchers, rpgs, vulcan gatling guns, flamethrowers, crossbows, and flair guns.

Morning Star: Rem’s trusty weapon that she used to fend off the MaBeasts, the cultists that attacked her and Subaru, and against the White Whale. It has since become a symbol of Diego’s undying love and affection for Rem who has begun to accept our hero for his courage and loyalty to Subaru and Emilia. With the Morning Star in hand Diego is capable of unleashing a huge burst of power clearing away his enemies in a single swipe or send them flying about in scattered bits and pieces. Since this is Rem’s gift to him, Diego views it as a symbol of their love for each other after Subaru stated his heart belonged to Emilia

Shaman: A powerful pair of nunchucks similar to Dante’s devil arm Cerberus that are capable of placing a terrible curse on a target that’s struck by them, thus cursing it, and then killing them in half a minute flat. Diego wields this weapon with ease making him a truly formidable opponent to his enemies, borrowing from the fighting style of the late-great Bruce Lee.

Elsa’s Daggers: Diego uses these blades as if they were scimitars and often combines them to form a double bladed weapon when in a heated confrontation. With these blades he can cover great distances and rip them apart with carefully coordinated strikes. He has affectionately named them Cloak and Dagger.
