![]() Author has written 14 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Life is short. Break the rules forgive quickly kiss slowly Love truly Laught uncontrollably and never regret anything that made you smile Hello! First of all, I really want to thank you for taking time for checking my profile. That means a lot to me ;) My name: Alice Age: 19 Location: Central America Religion: Christian Birthday: June 6th Career: International Relations & Politics Hobbies: read and write (obviously), playing cards, basketball, searching witty quotes, etc. Year in Fanfiction: fourth (as of 2018). Fandoms: Chronicles of Narnia, Percy Jackson series, Heroes of Olympus Series, Kane Chronicles, Harry Potter, Game of thrones, A Court of Thornes and Roses, The Name of the Wind, Ascendance trilogy, etc. (But I would read almost anything, any way!) Music: Adele, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Ricardo Arjona, Gloria Trevi, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, etc., etc. Language: I am a native speaker of Spanish, however, I write in English because of two reasons: 1) Ill have more readers and 2) it's a great way to practice my writing skills. Feel free to point out any spelling/grammar mistakes, it would help me a lot. I'm also learning German, but I am anly starting. What I really can't stand: flaming, slash, incest, unintentional mary sues/gary stues, rude/racist people, chayote fruit... politicians... Disclaimer: You already know I own nothing you recognize of whatever I publish, but I don't own what you don't recognize either. My work is a reflex of everything I read in books or in Fanfiction, so if I ever Favorite quotes: A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge. -Tyrion Lanister (Game of Thrones) Brave men didn't kill dragons; brave men rode them -Daenarys Targaryen (Game of Thrones) Awesome things will happen today if you choose not to be a miserable cow. -No idea who said this, but it is true. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit BUT the highest form of intelligence - Oscar Wilde A diplomat must always think twice before he says nothing -Irish Proverb Gather dust to build a mountain -Korean proverb. Collect moments, not things. Don't keep calm: Go change the world! People who shine from within don't need the spotlight. Some people die at 25 but arent buried untill 75. -Benjamin Franklin Don't let schooling interfere with your education. -Mark Twain Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. -Plato Some cause hapiness wherever they go, others whenever they go. -Oscar Wilde, I think. Silence is golden, but duct tape is silver. Life is a balance between holding on and letting go. We can never know what might have been, but what is to come is another matter entirely -Aslan (Chronicles of Narnia) A girl should be like a butterfly: Pretty to see, hard to catch. I'm a damsel, I am in distress, I can handle this, have a nice day! -Hercules Be a fruit loop in a world full of cheerios. Laught at your problems, everybody else does. Be a voice, not an echo. You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore. Santiago, Armando, Enrique or Tobías. How to Tell if You're a Writer -If you talk to yourself. Psalm 23 is my favorite psalm. I learnt it very young, and I said it when I crossed that long and dark room at home; it has always brought reassurance to my soul and a smile to my lips. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. You prepare a table before me Well... once upon a time, I was frustrated because I think myself a writer but learned that I'm rubbish at writing. I have little problem with one-shots, but I failed at anything with a more complicated plot. That was until I learned that I was a writer, albeit not a literature-writer writer, if you get me. I currently write opinion columns on a digital magazine, and perhaps I'll someday write for other magazines and newspapers. The lesson is: find which kind of writing you like to write and love it ;) Has anyone else run out of fanfics to read? Please people, publish more! @NarnianFandom | |||||||
