Author has written 2 stories for Forgotten Realms.

Hi. :D

Well, I'm pleased to meet you. My name is Dancce - people really call me that. The name originates in my main writing project in the language of aicca, and means "diadem". It became my nickname long ago, because of the word's linguistic resmeblance to my real given name.

For those interested, I'm a girl and I guess you could call me a goth. The people around me certainly do. :D I live in a small country in the middle of Europe called Slovakia. Despite some shortcomings, it's a cool place to live in, so don't let any wisenheimer tell you otherwise. ;)

I believe my mail address is available, so if you feel like writing to me on any matter at all, really, feel free to do so. I like new people and fresh minds, so you needn't be afraid to let me know. :) I welcome any thought you may want to share.

As to what I want with fanfiction.net, anyway: roleplaying is one of my three major interests, and DM-ing our regular weekly sessions for almost two years now - ever since I've been the one who came up with such an exotic thing, for in my home country, RPGs are something almost unheard of :D - there inevitably came a time when there were just too many interesting characters, places and events to cram up into our main stream of play. As an aspiring writer, I love to create new, fresh characters with a life of their own, and to tinker with their psychology and purpose grants me a feeling as close to mad happiness as I can ever achieve. ;D So, there it is -stories of any kind - reading, writing, listening to the strangest tales, be it creations of other people in whatever form or my own, are something I have chosen to be my love. Therefore the NPC's just kept coming and coming, and some of them became more alive than many "real" people I know.

The stories presented here are their stories - background events, times of their greatest tragedies and greatest joys, accountings of their past deeds or just lines of thought - everything that I would hate to forget just because I can't use it yet, or my players just won't uncover it in time. So I write.

Currently, there are three stories going on. The first one is Soulafein's - the lost and yet defiant existence, who just might see his dawn and find his peace once again after all... if there is a peace to be had for someone who was the very cause of his fall from grace. Soulafein's turquoise eyes first pierced my own some eleven months ago, and in that moment I knew that their fierce light would linger. He is my player character - I can manage it easily along with my DM-ing, and things are just better that way. His story is that of pride, terrible falls and defiance till the end, so listen closely and learn of shadows and hold tight onto the things you deem dear lest you ever made the same mistakes...

The second one is Aestan's. He is a very strange man indeed. I have met him one afternoon in those silent corners of my mind, and he was just standing there, smiling a little. I immediately wrote a short story about him, and since then he's been one of my best NPC's ever. I am aware that the quality of language and style in the beginning of his tale is not as good as that of The Darkness Nightly, since it was written a year ago. My language skills were not yet as good then as they are now... ehm. :D I've edited some, but have no time to do it more thoroughly as of now. But his story is one of duty, everlasting power and the price required for keeping both, and of mysteries lying in such simple things as laughter or tears. So listen closely, and learn of a love lost, of a love rejected, and of a hate that might outlast all and become the strongest anchor when both of the aforementioned are long forgotten.

The third one is Idrielle's. He is someone who actually wasn't even supposed to be born, but there he was, at the gates of Zhentil Keep, leaning onto his black metal staff, seemingly bored out of his mind. And our party wasn't supposed to be in Zhentil Keep, and Zhentil Keep wasn't supposed to be closed off, and there weren't supposed to be any random mage guards who would steal our elven priestess' heart. Since that day, Idrielle has become anything but random. His story is that of rejection, keeping one's word and silent snow, and of a deep, reluctant friendship between two very different, very similar men. So listen closely, and learn of secrets betrayed, hopes never fulfilled, memories brought alive, and of a very subtle, sophisticated mind that doesn't cringe in front of anything.
