The summer prior to 6th year Harry deals with Tom in a decisive, if accidental manner. That summer Harry gets a girl friend in Susan Bones, and sets about some self improvement. It is after this change to himself he discovers something a bit disturbing about the Wizarding World, something that Hermione Granger is determined to use to her advantage.

Harry had no idea why the boys in the Great Hall drooled over themselves as the students from Beuxbatons made their entrance, but he knew better than to let an opportunity slip. He hurriedly stole Ron's sandwich. It tasted gloriously.

The hours spent by his bedside turned into days. And as Percy slept, Calypso sang, soothing him, healing him. / Calypso's story, from the moment when Percy drops in on Ogygia to the moment she finds out he's missing. Building a romance from a fanon cliche turned on its head.

In canon Alastor Moody is portrayed as a man of action, but he doesn't act like one. In this story Alastor refuses to blindly follow Dumbledores rules of engagement and conspires with Sirius to get the war going to right direction from the beginning.

Anarchy. That's the word for the rise of chaos. A story of sacrifice, death and decay; but with any tragedy, there is always hope, in the bottom of the box, there's always hope. That is, until hope itself falls into destruction.
