Greetings and Salutations

Usernames are stupid. My name is Dylan and I prefer to be addressed as such, not that I'm expecting to make contact with anyone. I have no talent whatsoever and cannot even begin to fathom what in hell possessed me to have the audacity to create an account on such a website as this. Perhaps an impending psychotic breakdown or a delusional tidal wave of excessive cough syrup abuse.

Anyhow, I am 16 years old and have always had a deep and at times almost obscene infatuation with literacy and the written word, especially poetry. I strive to make progress in the art, but will most likely never achieve any higher level past "ametuar". Like a fish out of water, I twitch and flounder and gasp pathetically as I watch hopelessly as my countless superiors splash and swim happily in the clear waves that always seem to be just out of my reach.

I cannot promise any of you anything somewhat decent that will spew from my brain like whirlwind of noxious gas and spit, but I do promise that I will indeed try. My only request of you, my countless imaginary friends and voices in my head, is that you will be merciful.
