Want to know a little about whom your hanging out with?

I live in England with a laptop, a husband and a cat called Tiger and I write historical fantasy, sci-fi and m/m romance. When the fiction muse is not playing ball I write Essentially England, an information website for lovers of English history and traditional English food and run my own internet marketing business.

In 2011, I was introduced to Manga and Anime. And since that's highly addictive, not to mention a lot of fun, I'm now trying my hand inventing stories for my favourite characters.

And they would be?

Bleach - Byakuya/Renji, Kensei/Shuuhei, Ikkaku/Yumichika. I also rather have a thing for Kenpachi, but rarely as part of a pairing.

Brave 10 - Saizo/Kamanosuke

Naruto - Kakashi/Iruka

Loveless - obviously Soubi

So, what am I writing right now?

Drabbles, when I need to practise my writing and don't have time for long stories. Mainly KakaIru, though sometimes I sail the Avengers' Clint/Coulson ship.

Job Hunt: Bleach AU, set in London. Ken/Shuu/Ken. Shuhei, a security specialist with a rather natty sideline in law-enforcement, is looking for a new job and guess whom he runs into. This was meant as a fluffly little one-shot for Shuu's birthday, but is turning into some serious, multi-chapter fun. Don't read if you don't like food or if you object to some creative bending of the law.

House Hunt: Sequel to Job Hunt. Bleach AU, set in London and the Home Counties. Ken/Shuu/Ken. Things can't possibly be easy for Kensei and Shuhei. Here, the simple task of finding a new home turns into a house hunt neither was prepared for. I have the feeling that this might turn out a little darker.. we'll see. Still, there will be food and maybe some creative use of kitchen equipment.

Prospects: Follows Job Hunt and House Hunt, and in the same AU, but telling Renji and Byakuya's story. Renji is a mineral prospector, Byakuya owns a mining and refining company. Renji has offered his latest mineral find to Byakuya's company and he flies out to meet with Renji. Unfortunately, he isn't the only one after the stash.

Taming Frenzied Butterflies: Brave 10 fanfic, Saizo and Kamanosuke's stories. Set just after Anya's attack on Rokuro. I just wondered what would happen if Saizo has to travel with Kamanosuke instead of Isanami. And I was really curious why Kamanosuke was so reluctant to take his clothes off. So I sat down at the keyboard to find out.

I think that's plenty for the moment. Of course, this list will change as I finish pieces and start new ones. And just in case I fall foul of the man with the axe, all my fan fics are backed up on my LJ pages where you can also read my original stories should you feel so inclined.
