I have always loved writing stories, whatever form they may take, but I had never heard of FanFiction until my friend introduced me to it last year. She kept encouraging me to sign up and submit some of my own work, but until now I had simply been too petrified of the negative reviews I might receive that would knock my confidence. However she has persuaded me that all reviews, positive or negative, can be useful and help me to flourish as a young writer.
