Q. What kinda things float your boat?
A. I love stupid jokes, unnecessarily large words (I'm trying to start a major social movement based on the appreciation of the word sesquipedalian (it means "a really big word," isn't that fabulous??)), vaguely evil people (I don't think it's in me to be vaguely evil, but I recognise that having evil-ish friends is good for me!), orchestral instruments being used in pop songs (Beck, Bowie, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, et al just make me happy!), and all things bizarre or unusual - the stranger it is, the more likely I'll either want it or already have it!

Q. What're your pet peeves?
A. People who pronounce "cool" as though it were spelled "kewl," (sends SHIVERS up my spine!), and when ice cubes are dropped on the floor and just left to melt (also sends shivers up my spine - I'm not a neat freak, but what 'neatness' habits I have are rather freaky...and dropped ice really, REALLY wigs me out...I don't wanna talk about it...). I'm also not too keen on the idea of sweet dinner products (never was a big fan of the average American-Chinese dish, for example), but I suppose that's more a dislike than an actual pet peeve...

Q. Why on earth do you write from 2 separate accounts?
A. I dunno, I just started out that way -- using my original penname, ZephyrSamba (http://www.fanfiction.net/~zephyrsamba) for 'original' stories, and using this one for stories based off of actual episodes -- initially it was to make things simpler, but looking back on it now I'm not quite sure how this is meant to be simpler...ah well...long live confusion and scatterbrainedness!

Q. If you were a cookie, what kind would you be? (hey, you make up your questions, I'll make up mine)
A. A Tag-along! Tagging along is one of my key competencies - wanna take me shopping? Want a movie companion? Wanna go bowling? Dancing? To a ball game? Hey, I may not enjoy the activity per se, but I'm always happy to be dragged along on any little outing!

Q. What's your favorite flower?
A. Dandelions - can someone explain to me why they're considered weeds? A cheerful yellow flower whose head you can pop off and whose seeds you can blow all over the place in whimsical 'fairy wand' fashion - well, shoot, what's not to like?

Q. If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
A. The ability to read two books simultaneously - one eye reading one book, the other eye reading another book. "Look, its Reading-Two-Books-At-Once-Person!" Sure, I'd never save the world that way, but I don't really go in for all that "having a cause" stuff anyway...far too much physical exertion and altruism and what-not involved, you know?

Q. Is it true that you suffer from an overwhelmingly paralyzing fish phobia?
A. Yep, I'm afraid so! Icthyophobia is the proper term for it, btw (wow your friends and family!). Having lived in Florida for much of my life, it provided countless opportunities for wacky and rather mean beach hyjinks on the part of my friends - I, er, stay away from any water that doesn't come out of a spiggot these days...

Q. Dear lord, are you still typing?
A. Oh yeah, um, blathering is yet another of those "key competencies" of mine (it's a curse, I'm afraid! ;)
